Why does The Sleeper want to wake him up? To destroy earth? That makes No sense

He can wake up without destroying everything

Apparently I haven’t being paying attention: the Sleeper wants to wake up Shiva so he can perform the dance of destruction?

My question is why would Shiva do that? Because the Sleeper asked him to??

If there is a shield around Shiva that can only be broken by the celestial weapons then how do the gods get to him when they need help from him?

I’d assume they use the weapons but wouldn’t they start the destruction? And it seems annoying to break the shield every time they need him and put it back up again
