bridgerton!au with the charming family would be amazing honestly. the charmings (daring, dexter, and darling) are already known for wearing blue and for being popular with the people of ever after. them being given the chance to marry for love would be amazing instead of marrying whoever based on destiny.
other families could be like the hood and badwolf family being two rival families joining together and this causing drama for the ton. cerise using her mother's maiden name since ramona's seasons were considered a failure by society and would decrease her 'chances' of finding a match.
apple coming from a family filled with diamonds of the first water and the pressure on her to be selected as well.
ashlynn being the last true member of her family (her awful step family doesnt count) and her falling in love with someone not of nobility and the scandal that it causes
raven still being nobility but everyone knows that her mother's title was stripped away due to the acts that she had committed and this haunting raven through her season
the wonderlandians not being locals but they do have titles of their own and are treated as such. drama with adjusting to custom and practices of foreign courts

i deddd reading this post. Defo. Milton’s like maybe if I am imposing people gonna listen to me. This seems like it could be a rumour at EAH (started by Kitty or Sparrow or Ramona probs) and then now people can’t help but burst into laughter when they getting scolded by him which makes him rant more. Like all the people who were scared of him (probs Hopper? Idk he seems the type. maybe Ginger too) are now pretty neutral and confident around him. I can imagine them losing their ish when Milton mistakenly stomps his foot like a child. Thank you for this beautiful and amazing post.
I like Milton Grimm's tendency to loom ominously at basically every available opportunity because it's just funny. He's supposed to be this composed, knowing man of power and instead he has to resort to intimidation that a teenage bully wouldn't use to get people to listen to him. Beautiful.

A Thought
The Grandma from Little Red Riding Hood is an interesting role in Ever After High because EITHER -There is someone out there whose entire destiny is to be eaten by a wolf OR -There is a possibility that Ramona Badwolf could be the next Grandma.

You guys ever think back at how dystopian the Ever After High universe was? I mean think about it- teenagers were expected to perfectly relive their parents’ stories, even if they were going to be the villain of the story. Need I remind you, Raven Queen’s mother is in prison! Basically she’s being expected to do crimes and then go to prison for them, and is looked down on for...not wanting to go to prison? Cerise Hood and her sister have to hide that they are siblings, because they’re the children of the Big Bad Wolf and Red Riding Hood, which wasn’t how the story was supposed to end. And, in the books, when Raven tries joining a music class, she gets DENIED TO JOIN THE CLASS, because it’s not a class for a “villain.” Honestly, you go rebels- this stuff is creepy now that I think about it
