Person A of your OTP, half of the face of a rebellion, has been captured by the regime, brainwashed, and made into an anti-propaganda spokesperson.  One day, while they are giving a speech appealing to the rebels to stop the violence, the broadcast is interrupted.  Through the static, Person A sees images of their hometown, destroyed by the regime to set an example–and they hear Person B’s voice, singing an old, familiar song they once sung to A.  It’s enough to temporarily break through the brainwashing, allowing Person A to warn Person B of an upcoming attack against the rebel base before they get beaten on screen and the broadcast gets cut.  The entire time, Person A is watching the broadcast from the base.  (OT3:  Person C is the tech person who broke through the regime’s security, and as Person A starts having a breakdown, they comfort them quickly and urgently as they try to usher them down to the bomb shelters to prepare for the upcoming attack.)

Imagine your OTP in the Hunger Games. Do they team up? Are they in the same district? Does one lose their life for the other, does one watch the other be killed in front of their eyes, do they have to go head to head and fight to the death, being the last two tributes, do they both commit suicide together, or does one kill themselves for the other to be the victor?
