“You're in Caladan.”

“Caladan, can’t say I’ve heard of that city or country before.”

“My lady. Caladan isn’t any of those things. It’s a planet. The one that has proudly been my ancestral home, House Atreides Home, for about 10,000 years.”

“Planet? 10,000 years? Wait…” You begin taking in your surroundings more seriously as well as the information this man has told you. “What year is it?”

“10,172.”

“Oh.”

As soon as the handsome man finishes telling you this, the last thing you see is darkness.

No way are you that far into the future. One minute you were asleep in your room, the next you end up in an unknown place and time.

A/N: As you all can see, this is an upcoming Duke Leto AU x fem!reader story that I’m playing with but I’m still trying to figure out how to move forward with it. Still a bunch of brainstorming and drafting to do.
