as a foreigner, you had to take years to adjust to korean culture. of course you can never really fully fit in, but you still made it work despite the amount of set backs.

as a foreigner, you were also a little iffy about the the dating scene. you didn't think any badly of it per say, just a little scared on what they thought of you.

that didn't stop her, park jihyo, in barreling into your life like it was her life mission to make you her's

"really?" she would tease you over your drink of choice "I didn't know you're a pretty drinks kinda girl"

you bark out a laugh at that, mixing your drink in your apartment on your 5th date. she invited herself over after another successful comeback, knowing that you just finished the busy season in the firm you're working at

"there's a lot of things we still have to learn about each other" you teased back, gesturing over her drink of choice "i honestly didn't think you were a beer kind of girl"

"i'd let you know that beer" she takes a sip, maintaining the eye contact "is the best way to unwind"

"alright you beer lover" you finally finished mixing, the pink drink looking amazing underneath the lighting

"that looks like a love potion" she comments, coming over to your side of the table and hugging you from behind "are you sure you aren't a gorgeous and sexy witch that's out to get me to fall for you?"

you giggle and turn your head towards her, leaving a peck on her lips, catching her off guard "and what if I am? what will you do?"

she hums in thought, while you feel her hands wrap around your hips, rubbing slow circles with her fingertips.

"well" she starts, leaning into another kiss that you gladly give her. it starts with one, becomes two, maybe five, and she's suddenly in control and you can help but taste the beer on her. "I'm kissing you right now aren't I?"

"yes" you take a sip before crashing lips with her again, her giggles slipping through "yes you are"

Description: Jinyoung makes a video before he asks a big question

Jinyoung sat at the desk in his room, adjusting the camera and making sure it focused on him. He borrowed this camera from the studio so he could have the best quality possible. Once it was set and done  he clicked the record button with a smile and started talking.

"On November 8th, 2015, I met a girl at the cafe down the street. She had bright blue hair and the prettiest smile I had ever seen. So, I sat down in front of her and told her that." Some heat rushed to his cheeks as he confessed this, but he continued anyway.

"We talked for a long while; I found out she was in University and was majoring in Business. She had a petty roommate who always bothered her and never pitched in for groceries. And that she was born December 3rd, 1997 here in Seoul." The cafe down the street was one he had frequently visited over the years due to its convenience, but now it had new meaning.

"When the cafe closed and we finally parted, I asked her on a date and she said yes. After we exchanged phone numbers, she went back to her dorm and I went to mine. Jaebum hyung scolded me for being out so late, but I was too caught up in my thoughts to pay him any attention." He laughed at that. Jaebum was annoyed that no one would listen to him as it is, I guess this was just the last straw.

"One week later, on November 15th, we went to a nice Thai restaurant near her residence and then I walked her home. She said she wanted to go out again soon, so we did. Our second date was on the 28th at the amusement park where we took our first Polaroid." He lifted up the photo, that he had scribbled on. The date followed by the name of the memory.

'11.15.2015 ~ Second date'

"A little over a month later, we shared our very first kiss on new years eve during the countdown. I vividly remember Jackson, Yugyeom, and Bambam teasing me later for being 'soft' and 'lovey'. I also remember JB slapping them upside the head and telling them to leave me alone." This time he help up two photos, one of them kissing (taken by Mark) and one of them smiling.

"On February 11th, Y/N officially introduced herself to the rest of Got7 and Park Jinyoung Senior. They all immediately fell in love with her and welcomed her with open arms." This wasn't surprising in the least. JYP likes anyone who respects him and makes his idols happy. And anyone Jinyoung likes is bound to be loved by the group.

"On April 8th, we celebrated our six month anniversary at the same Thai restaurant from our first date. My gift to her was a silver necklace with a small heart pendant that had our anniversary engraved on it. She gave me a new Polaroid camera that I used later that night to capture our first 'I love you'." He help up the peach coloured camera and four pictures of them together, both dressed nicely but wearing funny expressions.

"Six months later on our one year celebration, I fell ill and had to cancel our dinner reservations. Instead of being upset or disappointed, Y/N came over to our dorm and stayed with me until I got better." After nonstop practice for a week, his body had finally caught up to him and he grew very sick. He dreaded calling his girlfriend to break the bad news but all had gone well when she wasn't too distraught. This photo was only of him, flushed and covered in blankets, but still looking cute.

"It is now more that two years later that I make this video to share something special with you all. You have been with me through everything and have given me nothing but love and support. Today, on June 28th, 2018, I plan on asking Y/N to marry me." He took a second to nervously cover the s huge smile on his face as he spoke. His eyes watered slightly at the thought of her saying yes, but didn't dare think of her rejecting him.

He reached across the desk to grab the small velvet box that held the ring. It was a simple ring, but extremely beautiful. It had taken him almost a month to find the perfect ring and get it resized, but it was worth it.

He thought of her saying yes, of sliding the ring onto her delicate finger, of her crying and telling him how much she loves him. It was all so unreal, but he new it was within reach. After a moment of silence, a tear slid down his face and he gently wiped it away.

"Hundreds of dates, thousands of 'I love you's', millions of memories, and a new puppy. So much love in our lives, and I want to make it last forever. I hope you will all support me in this decision." He closed the little box and put it in his drawer. With another bright smile and a hushed goodbye, he turned off the recording and got up from his seat.

He walked around his room for a few minutes, trying to compose himself before he moved on with his day. Once settled, he opened his door and invited Mark and Youngjae in to view his video.

Jinyoung sat nervously and fiddled with his blue button up shirt as his members watched. By the end of the short video, both boys were in tears and smiling. "That was beautiful, hyung. If she doesn't say yes then I will." Youngjae sniffed dramtically.
