Drew this after finding out Ody was king at 13. Immediately needed to draw Pallas “bad at emotions w mortals” Athena trying to help

We talk a lot about Hades being villainized more than he deserves but we don’t talk enough about how Athena is almost always erased in adaptions, I get writers not wanting a Deus ex machina solving their heroes problems (that trope originated from Greek mythology ironically lol) but Athena’s relationship to those heroes is still extremely important to their characters, but especially Odysseus and Heracles, so erasing her always makes the story feel like it’s missing something.
