1 year of being in the mafia fandom. here’s a video and a thoughtful slab of text of how i got into mafia and the good memories of it :)
how it all happened:
so it all started on may 31st when @whizzwhizz (big_barbaro on instagram) told me to search up vito. after that, my life literally revolved to be ALL VITO. i ended up getting the whole vito outfit, getting custom vito merch, and much more vito shenanigans 😂 whizz/barbaro is probably afraid of what he’s done to me now HAHA. my whole family sees me as “the vito kid” LOL
i have so much nostalgia for may 31st and the month of june in 2023… i miss walking my dog on cloudy autumn days while listening to songs like ‘that’s amore’ and ‘soul man’ while being excited to learn more about mafia since i became involved and obsessed since day 1 😢 i remember coming home and straight away going on tumblr to look at cool photo edits of mafia. whizz/barbaro was also teaching me about mafia definitive edition on june 2nd and i remember thinking paulie was cool and silly! but this post is specifically mafia 2 since it was my first mafia experience 🥰
times feel so different now, sometimes i get truly upset about how much things have changed. the community for me didn’t end that well in 2024 as there has been some dramas that caused me many stressful days but i am always EXTREMELY grateful for the friends i made who helped create great memories and happiness. here’s a shoutout to some of the accounts i have had great interactions with!
