btw the pink panther is real ^_^
a erythristic leopard aka a strawby leopard 🍓🍓🍓 or pink panther. this is a mutation where an unusually high amount of red appears in the coat (or an unusually low amount of black) and gives a more diluted red appearance to the leopards rosettes ^_^ some normal leopard colouration for comparison
also just interestingly a pair of "white" jaguar cubs were born to a spotted and melanistic pair back in 2012 which at first were assumed to be leucistic but it turns out it was just a fever coat!! by the time they had their first moult they were typically spotted like their father but i still think it's cute and leucism is still a possibly mutation for jaguars it just hasn't been documented yet ^_^
Came across this contraption on our way through Germany in Bingen... no further words are needed I presume :)
