Melody:

She/her

About 27 years old she’s been causing a ruckus around the wilds for quite a while, it’s uncertain how long for now

Quite intimidating at times and knows how to win her way through a fight, but hasn’t the need to since she’s been able to escape every time she’s been caught in the act of her shenanigans, well WAS able to, ever since her sidekick came along she has been her best not to get them killed out there, she has tried to get rid of them by letting them get caught by the sheriff and such, but they would always get back to her in some way or another. She just gave up at this point, at least they can be somewhat useful at times…

Came from a background of poverty but still had parents who were kind, she still visits them to this day though never really tells them about her line of work for obvious reasons

The Kid:

They/them

A young “ruffian” who came from a far away place, doesn’t understand fully about the whole bandit idea but tries their best to become the greatest bandit

Pretty good at escaping situations thanks to their trusty bag full of sand and go get em attitude, they have accidentally caused Melody to get caught numerous times but is able to break her out of jail without them getting caught just as much. They themself also has been “captured” a few amount of times , but their captures seem more like rescues to the sheriff since he thinks that Melody was the one kidnapping them. Their favorite scarf they apparently found in someone’s trash can be very strong since they used it as a rope in situations like needing to climb it up somewhere or having to use it like a lasso. Also can be pretty good at stealing somewhat when they aren’t announcing to the person they are stealing from that they are stealing from said person, thankfully they get better at not doing that

No one actually knows their origin exactly. All there is that they were found by Melody in a city far away and followed her to the simple town she lives in and that was that. They do claim very strongly to be an orphan though for most of their life and lived in the streets, but when coming to the wild wherever they seemed very interested on how “old style” and how different everything is, its probably because they came from a city, mainly one where a lot of the rich folk live in but one can never know
