The AWARE Study - AWAreness during REsuscitation - and Near-Death Experiences
The traditional threshold of death has been extended with the use of modern resucitation techniques employed in cases of cardiac arrest, and the AWARE study explored the growing number of reports of near-death experiences of those revived. Thousands, if not millions of people now have been known to regain consciousness after the moment of death, and in response scientists believe your brain cells don't immediately disintegrate when the brain no longer functions, but it may take time, possibly hours, until all the individual neurons die. In the current study, Dr. Sam Parnia designed and conducted the AWARE study - AWAreness during REsuscitation - in order to iron out some of these issues. In particular, Parnia wanted to understand the quality of oxygen getting into the brain in order to improve resuscitation techniques, while also exploring the many different reports of those who were revived following cardiac arrest (CA). The four-year observational study used a three-stage interview process by which the researchers tested the accuracy of claims of visual and auditory awareness/memories during cardiac arrest and then objectively verified these claims. Among 2,060 people who experienced cardiac arrest, 330 survived and of these survivors 140 reported at least partial awareness at the time of resuscitation.Nearly half (46 percent) had memories with seven major themes: fear; animals/plants; bright light; violence/persecution; deja-vu; family; and recalling events post-cardiac arrest. Two percent described awareness with explicit recall of seeing and hearing actual events related to their resuscitation. Many people believe in the moment, Sam Parnia noted that he's resuscitated "hundreds, if not more," patients, and cardiac arrest is very well understood. "Zero blood is getting into their brain, and it does stop functioning within seconds," he explained. However, the data suggest that "so-called out of body experiences cannot be defined as hallucination," he said, adding that consciousness "disappears from the general view," with doctors unable to detect any signs of it following clinical death. “We are Cause”
I was rash as young woman. I behaved as if I had no idea I could be broken, as if I expected to live forever. I escaped serious injury many, many times by what often looked to me like divine intervention. It emboldened me, serving only to teach me to believe I could press my limits with impunity. I’d had an experience of being accompanied and “looked after” from the time I was six when I first met my Daemon Guide, my Beloved “Celestial Twin” and my “Husband in Eternity”. I had heard His subtle inner guidance and followed it all my life until the age of sixteen, when I fell in love with a man nearly a decade my senior. I heard my Twin remark “When you are in love you pay no attention to me at all”. As there was no one in the world to reinforce my belief in my inner Guide, my reliance upon Him dwindled and I turned my attention outward into the world of sensation. I loved love and I adored seeing that precious light in a man’s eyes and knowing I had put it there Read more at http://theothersidepress.com/we-are-cause-2018
New NDE Research Reveals God Experience
-New research carried out by the #Near Death Experience Foundation has revealed the occurring theme of a "deep and unconditional love" within the majority of all near death experiences. This data was compiled from a mass amount of reports of people who have experienced these paranormal episodes. Dr. Jeffrey Long stated "I was struck by the remarkable consistency," noting the experience could not be explained by preexisting cultural or religious beliefs. "They represented a wide spectrum of Read more at http://theothersidepress.com/new-nde-research-reveals-god-experience-3075
Chapter three is up.
Peter Parker is initially targeted as a means to ensure cooperation by Tony Stark. This eventually spurs into something different, and the spider is caught by someone much worse than his original kidnapper. Peter’s a very popular target when it comes to kidnapping, and somehow, Tony Stark must find a way to get his kid back after multiple subsequent kidnappings.

Pretty good book in relation to near death experiences/ohm’s love:
“Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon's Journey into the Afterlife” —by Eben Alexander
Have you ever had a near-death experience? I could ask you in person but I like Tumblr posts :P
Well, once when I was camping i decided it would be fun to climb up to the top of the pagoda next to our camp-site without telling the adults. I walked around the top for a while before realising I was lost, and panicking. I tried to find the way back down, but I couldn't. I was up there for what felt like hours, panicking, before I stumbled upon the site by accident. I don't know about near death, but if I hadn't found my way back I might have died. It still haunts me.
Please keep adding to this
Just almost fucking died a few minutes ago. 💀
so apparently it’s weird for me to have a near death experience today and be completely unbothered like bro chill out I’m fine aren’t I?
Dungeons and Dragons half-orcs have such great whump potential 🖤🖤🖤
A half-orc Whumpee stands his ground against Whumper. He takes the blows for the rest of the team because he knows that he can take it. He hopes he can take it. All he has to do is draw attention away from the other members of the team. Help will be there soon. It has to be.
Whumpee gets beaten down, blow after blow, until he is on his knees. He feels the gravel sharp in his knees, and blood pounding in his ears. Whumpee prays to whichever gods will listen, asking for the strength to keep going.
Whumper looks down at Whumpee and laughs. It's a surprisingly light laugh, but the cruelty in it is clear. Whumper suddenly stops, and there is a deathly silence. Whumpee barely has time to process the now almost bored look on Whumper's face, when they feel a sharp pain in their side.
Blood pours out of Whumpee. Dark, sticky and far too much of it. When Whumper gently pulls out the dagger, the blood and pain only gets worse. After a few seconds in a daze, Whumpee blinks, pleasantly surprised by the fact he was still conscious, let alone alive. Glancing around at the expressions of his teammates, he can see a confusing mix of horror and relief.
Whumpee really should be dead, but he isn't. He is barely holding it together, but he is alive. And that's a very good thing.
Whumpee gathers the last of his strength and stands up. With fire in his eyes and blood on his face, he stares unflinchingly at Whumper.
"Is that all you have got?"
For the first time, Whumper almost looks a little scared of Whumpee, and the power he must have to survive a wound like that.
Whumpee stands tall, and the throbbing sound of his headache becomes more regular, like the sound of hoofbeats in the distance. It sounds like hope.
uhhh so when i was like 9 i randomly lost conciousness stopped breathing and started making weird noises and my mom had to resuscitate me
i stayed in the hospital for a month (and still no one knows why it happened) and the doctors found a bunch of weird stuff in my brain that was too small to trigger whatever that was so and to spice things up apparently i had pneumonia at the time that i did not know about (which could have theoretically contributed to losing conciousness the doctor said that it is ceery unlikely)
and because of that i need to have regular MRI to check if everything is alright and i'm at a risk of brain surgery if the tumors(??) start growing and also knowing my families cancer history its uh not impossible
i dont remember anything about the whole not breathing thing but i'm almost certain that if my mom wasnt there i would have been long dead
If you said yes please put in the tags what was that experience and reblog this i want to see how many people escaped death
I almost got hit by a car yesterday. I think it was my fault. I wish I lived in a more walkable city. I’m glad my speed was at mode 2 and not the usual 1. Otherwise I would have surely been crushed. It seems the intersection of diagonal death isn’t the only place where the reaper can snatch you.
I believe in shifting. It feels weird, knowing somewhere I didn’t survive that.
