it was a long day, you were extremely exhausted from your school work, you had two upcoming test and haven’t had the time to study for them yet. you and taehyung have been keeping in contact but haven’t seen each other in weeks, you miss him so much and you know he misses you too.
one of the things you miss about hanging out with taehyung is how he would come over a rant about his day while you organize or clean, you absolutely love it when taehyung comes over when you clean. it’s like a highlight of your day, listening to him talk about whatever on your bed. it makes your day 10x better, so when you got home you called tae and asked him to come over, taehyung answers and says he’ll be there in 20.
while you wait you decide to watch a romcom in your room but then remember how messy it’s been. you sigh from thinking about it and start cleaning but then hear a ring from the doorbell.
“wait a minute!” you shout loud enough for the person to hear from outside.
you rush to get up from the area you were organizing at and make yourself towards the door, you open it to find a pair of brown eyes looking at you with amusement. he holds in a laugh as he sees your disheveled hair and the way you lean against the door frame.
“yea, yea whatever…” you scoff, a smile forming on your face.
you tell taehyung about the mess but to your surprise he doesn’t seem to care at all, only wanting to be by your side and to talk to you. tae sits on your bed to tell about his day while you finish cleaning up the section in your room you were tidying up before.
“I know! and then she had the nerve to say, ‘im sorry but, sleeping in my class is unacceptable.’ like maybe actually teach and I won’t fall asleep??”
taehyung was complaining about how his history teacher had given him detention for dozing off in class. you completely agree with tae though, why become a teacher if your not gonna teach the class?
you hum in agreement while cleaning up your vanity from the plastic cups, forgotten press on’s, and books. you look around your room to see that your halfway done cleaning, a smile appearing on your face when you hear taehyung ask if your still listening.
“obviously I am, now keep talking about lucas. i didnt know he left the group!”
he keeps talking about many topics after this actually.. like how some girl at the school got caught making out with the p.e teacher, and how some freshman left a flare gun in his locker and it went off. breakfast club reference??
you enjoy it though, listening to him talk about everything while you were cleaning. it makes you feel calm and more productive, in some way it’s sort of comforting.
so when the time comes for you two to say goodbye it makes you upset, so taehyung cheers you up by pinky promising that you both will make time to see each other again. he kisses your pink to seal the promise and with that he leaves while waving goodbye.
