Moon Landing - Tumblr Posts
iโm just like henry winter
i too donโt believe the moon landing was real
Okay so basically:
1. That's not Ithaca, dude

2. POV the suitors after a rando beggar strings a bow

3. "All I gotta do is open this bag!" *rocket ignition starts*

4. Literally the entire Odyssey in one headline.

5. They're the same thing.

Bro really reached anywhere but Ithaca. Also looks like he's not gonna make it home this time ๐ญ

Dancing with the moon and the stars....
The Moon-face (Day & Night)

Guat|Jan. 2022

On this July 20, the 55th anniversary of the #Apollo11 Moon landing, I'd like to share my dad's autographed photo of Neil Armstrong from when he was working for Neil in 1991 or so (before I was born).
May the intrepid journey of Armstrong, Aldrin, and Collins continue to inspire us all!
Hey. Why isnโt the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isnโt that fucked up? Does anyone else think thatโs absurd?

Anniversary of APOLLO 11 MOON LANDING
On July 20, 1969, 109 hours and 42 minutes after launch, Neil Armstrong and Edwin โBuzzโ Aldrin entered the lunar lander โEagleโ, made a final check, and the Eagle undocked from the lunar orbiter โColumbiaโ, where the third member of the crew Michael Collins, stayed in orbit around the moon. Partially manually piloted by Armstrong, the Eagle landed 0 degrees, 41 minutes, 15 seconds north moon latitude and 23 degrees, 26 minutes east moon longitude. Armstrong stepped out, and Aldrin followed 20 minutes later: human beings stepped on the moon for the first time. The two men spent 21 hours and 26 minutes on its surface. One of the astounding aspects of the mission was the seeming simplicity of the technology used to get man to the moon. According to Oliver Gassmann, professor of Technology Management, the mobile phone in your pocket has one million times more memory than the Apollo 11โs computer. Same about the procesor: the latest phones typically have more than 100,000 times the processing power of the computer that landed man on the moon 50 years ago.
โIt suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didnโt feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.โ โNeil Armstrong

Oh man, I can look up at the moon tonight and there's people up there, right now! They've done good. They've all done good.
Edit: I may be wrong about the people being on the moon, but we can still look up to be proud of what we have accomplished, and will accomplish next!
So I was listening to Startalk Radio, the episode uploaded on July 25, 2023, and they talked briefly about places where the sun don't shine on the moon, cold traps.
The moon doesn't have an atmosphere, so some shadows are completely black. If there are areas that NEVER see light, IF water is there, it'll never evaporate.
If water is in a crevices or crater which never touches light, then it'll freeze and stay there, undisturbed, forever!
So, what is the likelihood that chandrayann3 can find a creator on the south pole of the moon that has never seen sunlight? If there is water, what can we learn from it? I imagine it'll be a HUGE SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY.
I'm trying not to get hyped about it until they tell the public that they've found frozen water.
