The temptation to rewrite the city of the dead because of how OOC the characters feel...
okay now that i know im not the only one who hates pepose characterizations i just wanna say that the opening to city of the dead reminds me very much of the 2006 huston run (which, i saw someone mention theres very clear influences) but this. this fucking page.
it reminds me entirely of marc's struggle in that series. he's sitting right in front of the statue in a similar manner that its almost uncanny!
i would've been fine if they set it during that era, it would've made a lot more sense for his character. this could've been a retelling and he was actually just reciting this to his therapist. that would've worked out for me and maybe made sense but.

I swear in almost every super-people team, Moon Knight feels like the kid who when the teacher said, "Okay everybody, get in groups!" Just sat there in dead silence and waited until the teacher came over and went, "Yes you have to be in a group, go with them." Then assigned him to the group with The Good Kid™ (Captain America)
experiencing incredible tonal whiplash reading one of these right after the other
