I've been very intrigued with the mini abyss bois recently so hear me out:

Mini abyss bois help with baking.

Like we give them little hair clips and ties so so fluff or feathers get into the batter. The bois (try) to help with mixing. Then when folding the dough you can see little claw marks and when you turn away for one second Child or Kaeya has fallen into the frosting-

as someone who likes to bake i love this ask so much- okok Diluc and Albedo? definitely the ones who are always trying to help and stay out of trouble!!! Diluc likes sliding ingredients over to you or even retrieving them from the pantry himself!! his wings let him cover the distance as long as whatever you need isn't too heavy <33 you have to be very careful not to get anything in his feathers though, it's hell to wash out, and he HATES the heavy feeling if liquid soaks in!!

Albedo situates himself on top of the recipe book, so if you ever lose your place he can point it out for you <33 he has very good memory!! he also likes being near the sink, so if you ever burn yourself he can turn on the water immediately!!! he's quieter and will most likely amuse himself with reading the other recipes you have <3

Childe is very enthusiastic!!! he's pretty used to baking as well since he's been with you the longest, but his excitement is still undiminished whenever he sees you pull out supplies!! he loves anything you make, and that very much includes food- most of the time he works so hard helping you set up that he's very tired when you're actually mixing and sifting stuff, so he sits on your shoulder and asks for tastes of whatever you're making <333

and Kaeya is a LITTLE SHIT. he alternates between being helpful and being mischievous- one moment he'll be helping you knead dough, the next he'll be playing with the flour. he definitely gets messy while baking (again, usually flour. he likes how it puffs up and LOVES going up to the other lads with flour-covered claws and making a handprint in their fluff) he also STEALS tastes of what you're making!! doesn't ask, just snatches some, and when you sternly tell him that he could get sick he playfully sticks his tongue out!!!

and yes. Childe and Kaeya have definitely fallen into frosting. Kaeya sulked for an hour because he got frosting in his fluff, and you comforted Childe because Kaeya PUSHED HIM IN.
