Ok so I’m rewatching Soul Eater right?
Immediately, I mean IMMEDIATELY upon first interaction from Stein and Medusa, I can tell they have amazing chemistry.
Like rip your guts out while passionately making out kind of chemistry. They have all these amazing interactions with him uncovering that she’s a witch, some very close calls from him calling her out, AND THEY ALMOST KISS MAY I ADD
In their final fight, they match wits with eachother and challenge one another; he loses all inhibitions, becomes manic, even kills her. She’s absolutely crazed and dying, bleeding out as she says “I love you” with crazy eyes and a huge ear to ear grin.
They show eachother their true fucked up selves and it’s such an emotionally charged moment as he says “At your core, you’re just like me; you can’t possibly understand a concept like love”.
So she gives him one last ‘Fuck you, I’ll make sure you never forget this moment’ by taking a chunk out of his neck, only for him to throw her to the ground and deliver the finishing blow. A swift scythe slice to the stomach.
She dies, unraveling, smirking and giggling, as he stands over her, grinning down in satisfaction.
Truly, they had EXPLOSIVE chemistry, maybe not romantically, but good god they are wonderful foils to eachother. Truly a match made in hell.

i dunno about you guys but if i’m not sure if a snake is venomous or not i don’t think my first step would be to grab & examine its ass

i think that one of the things that makes medusa terrifying is her ability to appear like everyone else and disguise the fact that she’s a witch extremely well
i dont just mean using soul protect , i mean physically disguising herself
im not referring to dressing differently , such as when pretending to be a nurse at the academy , or her blue dress during the party on the night of the revival of the kishin
like
as the snake witch , she has slit pupils like snakes do
but at the academy , she was able to make her pupils appear normal to not give away any possible indicators that she was a witch of any kind
they arent slits like normal
three times they are slits , such as when she was listening to soul explain his dream , when “””helping””” maka with the situation of her black blood , and when stein is talking to her about the medicine she gave maka
other than that , this lady had the audacity to do everything she could to physically disguise herself perfectly and go entirely under the academy’s radar of being a witch , tricking literally everybody
