Y’all remember when everyone called Puffy Dream’s mom? Yeah let me elaborate on that.
Could you imagine Puffy in denial that her little baby, her little duckling, is a monster? Could you imagine her finally coming to terms with it, her taking up a sword against him? Her joining the rebellion to dethrone the son she loves so dearly.
But then the gang discovers Dream has been possessed for a very long time, a Dreamon and its host, now they set out to find out a way to separate them. After finding a way to do so a huge battle ensues and Puffy is the one to separate the Dreamon from Dream.
Imagine her, battered and bruised, stumbling to the center of a huge crater where her little duckling lays. She calls out “Son?” As she gets closer, Dream looks up, mask cracked, “Mom?”. Puffy runs to him, gathering her son in her arms, “I’m here, I’m here.” “You’re okay, you’re okay.”
Is this my desperate need for positive physical affection? Is this my touch-starved state speaking? Maybe. I was just chilling in my room thinking bout Mama Puffy than B O O M angst.
Quick announcement about the mama Puffy fic
It is coming! But I’ve been pretty swamped with school on top of feeling really anxious about putting my work out there so I’ve been knit-picking what I have written so far and constantly redoing what I have. So it might be a little while longer before the fic is ready but I just wanted to announce that it is still coming. In the meantime if anyone wants to write about this or draw it, feel free! The Mama Puffy concept isn’t my idea but if you use specific scenes and ideas I’ve put out please credit me for that and send me the link, I’d love to read it.
Yo something just triggered my anxiety so I’m writing DreamSMP comfort things about my Mama Puffy stories.
Dream:
While he was possessed his body was morphed, his stomach had a huge mouth, he had a long tail, sharp teeth, and sharp claws. He naturally had sheep horns and a sheep tail but it got morphed into a long spiked tail and his horns got larger and sharper and prong pieces grew off his horns(like a Jacob Sheep).
After Dream had been freed from the Dreamon’s control the mouth across his stomach disappeared, leaving a thin scar-like marking where the mouth was. The skin there is now pretty sensitive and Dream suffers from stomach pains.
Dream, post possession, is pretty aloof, he’s not used to having having control. He also avoids most people in the server. Even though he had no control, he still feels guilty about what happened. He spends most of his time with George and Sapnap, the rest of the time he’s alone or with Puffy. He repaired his mask too, it’s no longer cracked and damaged.
Don’t mind me, I’m just thinking about the DreamSMP again. And rewriting my Mama Puffy fic....again. And changing headcanons...again.
Imagine an intense moment where Michael and Dream cross paths and Ranboo immediately panics. Ranboo would go full agro-enderman and claws Dream while howling ‘don’t you DARE touch my son’. Cue an emotionally destroying moment where Dream reveals his power over Ranboo, showing off that he could have escaped at any point but was stalling for time, for his grand plan.
Imagine Tubbo screaming Ranboo’s name, begging him to snap out of it. Only to be met with cold, hostile eyes staring back at him.
Imagine the Syndicate getting the news, Technoblade stricken with guilt because he feels like he could have done more to protect one of the only people he trusts(that or Dream called in his favor and Techno freed him from the Vault). The Syndicate and SnowChester teaming up to rescue Ranboo and they search through all kinds of ancient ruins and tomes for anything that explains the EnderWalk state.
Phil mentions seeing something like this before, a long, long time ago. Back in his early days of adventuring he came across a stronghold and discovered the End Portal. And to his utter horror, a huge creature crawled out of the lit up portal. The fight that ensued could barely be called a fight, if Philza wasn’t the Angel of Death he would have died. A while later he discovers a Young Technoblade, recently exiled, stumbling and heavily injured. Techno shares what happened, years back a monster appeared. This monster was no other, it was far worse then even the dreaded Withers and Ender Dragon of legend. This beast demanded a sacrifice of 14 people yearly so it would not crush the empire. Every soul was too scared to fight or was crushed like a bug by this beast. So young Techno steps up, declaring that he would slay the beast. The battle was long and brutal, but Techno managed to win. But instead of being met with gratefulness and cheer upon arriving home, he was attacked by everyone he risked his life to protect. He was called a blood-thirsty monster and was hunted like an animal. He had no choice but to flee, that was when he ran into Philza. Philza could tell Techno was meant to become the Blood god and what needed to happen, it just so happened that there was an empire’s worth of people that deserved retribution. So with the massive sacrifice Techno, upon dying, was made into the Blood God.
But, those people had been taken over by the monster Techno thought he killed. This beast is the Dreamon, just not known as that at the time. The ‘Beast’ became the Dreamon much later. People spoke of a horrifying monster that haunted your dreams and control your mind, hence the name Dreamon. The Dreamon decided it needed a mortal vessel again, since Techno killed the last one. So it possessed a young boy who had accidentally discovered one of the Dreamon’s old temples(the strongholds). The human’s name was rather fitting for the beast that now controlled them. Dream. Dream was possessed a few years after he left home to go adventure with his best friends. And this demon was very smart and now had access to Dream’s mind, so it had no trouble impersonating him.
