Legend: Wild. You can’t keep using that sword to fight with. It’s broken.
Wild: I know. It’s pointless.
I like to imagine Wild just. Didn’t speak upon first meeting with the chain. No one thought anything of it of course. They just believed he was mute.
But one day.
Wild and let’s say, Legend are patrolling together, and Wild hits his arm on a tree or something, and yells out “FUCK” in the most posh, British accent that ever was spoken. And Legend is just in shock, because 1. He thought this guy was mute, and 2. He didn’t even know it was possible to sound so fancy while saying fuck.
And then Wild turns to him, and says (while still in a heavy British accent): “No one will ever believe you.”
Anyways I love Wild with a British accent and also a potty mouth

But Twi’s “howdy” and Sky’s puffy pants are pretty great.

Wild: *with complete seriousness* 10,118 years old
Absolutely adoring how the chain seems to have assigned big brother little brother pairings for all of the minors:
Legend who is making sure Hyrule doesn’t overuse his magic and exhaust himself
Warriors who is constantly scruffing Wind to make sure he doesn’t do something stupid
And Twilight who is trying to stop Wild from yeeting himself off the nearest cliff and failing miserably

I love how well Legend works as a plot device for fics because of his veteran status. Got an item you need to work in? Legend probably has something that’s close enough, or you could just say he bought it for his stockpile. Need someone to be able to relate to a specific experience? Legend has 6 games worth of content for you to pull or extrapolate from. Need some background characters to help inform the heroes? Legend has 5 kingdoms worth of citizens he’s saved to choose from. Need romantic drama? He’s got that in spades no matter which partner you give him. So much content packed into one angry little man and I love that for him! :)
My favorite headcannon for Ravioli getting together before LU starts:
Legend goes through Triforce Heroes and while he’s away in Hytopia Ravio gets portaled to Hyrule Warriors. Legend comes back before Ravio and drives himself crazy looking for him. One day Ravio stumbles back through the portal and is immediately accosted by Legend, hugging him desperately and demanding to know where he’s been. Ravio apologizes for worrying him but, being the self deprecating little shit he is, does the classic “I didn’t think you’d care” and Legend, in a fit of anger, yells that he loves him and then storms off. Then they both have mini crises as they process what the hell just happened and Ravio eventually corners Legend into having a discussion. Legend talks about Koholint and how his Ravio’s disappearance made him think he’d lost him permanently, just like Marin, and how badly that scared him. Ravio talks about growing up in Lorule and never really getting to have a connection with anyone other than Hilda as well as what happened in the War of Eras. Then, they finally admit their feelings for each other and start a relationship! (Romantic or QPR)
Unless a story specifies otherwise this is always how I imagine it happening because these two are so gosh dang cute I adore them!!!!!!! But at the same time they are both idiots who can’t communicate for the life of them. Incredible dynamic, truly. <3

I both love and hate realizing that my fixations and headcannons for one fandom are just carry overs from the previous ten fandoms I’ve been in. My tastes have not evolved, I’ve just been trying them in different fonts. Gosh dangit.
If we’re talking Waitress, When He Sees Me is so Legend, fear of opening up and not being accepted for it/losing that acceptance and love is the start of 90% of the character arcs I’ve seen for him. Poor traumatized darling :(

Legend wants another divorce
When you're married for tax and immigration fraud purposes, till death do us part doesn't have that much of a kick to it.
The links witness the most lovingly dysfunctional marriage in all hyliankind.
The links turn up at Legends place for the first time. He takes them home, ravio is at the door, angry. Cries at link for leaving him alone for two months, says without his ugly mug threatening the customers he couldn't squeeze as a much money out of them, asks for another divorce, then runs off into their bedroom.
The other links are flabbergasted. Wars is dying inside cause no way is the collector (asshole) is married and divorced. Leg rolls his eyes, ignores questions and tells them to just sleep anywhere and don't touch anything.
At dinner, leg makes ravio a sandwich, gets down on one knee and asks ravio to marry him again. Ravio swoons with a yes, but before he can take a bite, he reams ravio about mixing his merchandise up with his adventure stuff, takes a massive bite out of the sandwich, says he wants to be divorced again.
Ravio won't let link sleep on the bed, it's improper, but leg is freaking tired and he can't have the couch because there are guests over, so leg just tiredly asks if they can be married again, ravio requests dowery of one week of bed cuddles, three days, four days and I'm big spoon. Deal.
At breakfast ravio has a single bite of waffles from wild, requests another divorce, says he wants to marry wild instead. Legend gets up on the table, sword out, and asks wild what he's playing at. Wild is so utterly confused and time diffuses the situation. Legend tells ravio he'll come crawling back and ravio sicks his tongue out at him
Legend does in fact win him back when Ravio needs him to do something in the shop, and leg wants to get paid a wage (and rent), Ravio would rather them be married so he's just contributing to the house.
They go to the castle eventually, mius leg he couldn't be bothered, where Fable tells em yeah they're legally married. Leg didn't tell her outright but she suspects it's because married couples with kids have lower taxes. The other links are shook and confused, so is fable, saying he adopted his three younger siblings. These are just link split up into the triforce heros but the chain doesn't know this.

I lost this fic on Ao3 and haven’t been able to find the right combination of tags or key words to narrow things down, I’d appreciate any help I can get
It was a Linked Universe fic centering on Legend in which for some reason all of the other heroes keep ignoring him. At one point, around the second or third chapter he leaves the group entirely and they don’t even notice until like 3 weeks later.
If this fic interests you but you don’t recognize it stop reading now because *SPOILERS*
Legend starts doing the quest on his own and though he eventually meets up with the other heroes again where they promise to do better within a few weeks he realizes he’s getting ignored again. They find out that Legend has a curse on him because (I think) of a shard of dark magic he’d picked up earlier in the story and which he had been progressively gathering from black blooded monsters. They break the curse and profusely apologize and everything turns out alright. Can someone help me find it please?
I’m sorry but why does Lu!Ravioli give off the strongest Solangelo vibes I’ve ever seen?
Their godly parents might not match up but their personalities sure as hell do. Legend and Nico are both very sweet and protective of those they love but hide it under a veil of sarcasm and abrasiveness to protect themselves from getting hurt again. They both have way too much quest experience and have done more shit than half the people around them combined. Both have lost many people close to them and feel immense guilt about it. I wanna give both of them hugs and forehead kisses and make sure they never worry about a single thing for the rest of their lives.
Ravio and Will line up a little less perfectly but are still shockingly similar. Or at least they are according to my headcanons. Both annoy their partners to death and back but also care very deeply and try not to trigger them. They both are trying to make sure their respective self-sacrificial idiot doesn’t get killed throwing himself into the line of fire. I’ve even seen multiple fics and headcanons about Ravio working in the medics tent during the War of Eras because he’s too cowardly to march into battle. They are also both the more personable partner.
And finally, both relationships fit the sunshine x emo stereotype.
Look, I’m just saying-
I can see Wind, Wild, Hyrule, and occasionally Legend going full theatre kid in their explanations and acting out scenes from their adventures. The one who did the adventure would be the narrator and would assign the others their parts and lines. Legend and Wild would be so pleased to have an excuse to wear their many, many outfits!
Before some of the boys figure out Wolfie is Twilight they try to sit him down and explain things that happened before he was born. Twilight indulges them in that form becuase it makes them happy to think a wolf is actually listening to them explain history.
Example:
Wind: So you’d think the gods would come down and kill this guy for being so evil right? Literally tried to take over the entire country just to plunge it into darkness right?
Wolfie (Twilight): [slow blinks]
[Wind slaps the board he’s using to present]
Wind: NOT SO FAST BROTHER, BECAUSE INSTEAD OF DOING THAT, THEY FLOODED THE FUCKING WORLD-
Wolfie (Twilight): [pretend shocked huffs]
