Just watched love, Simon. I really like the movie! It's so cute and I LOVE all the soundtracks. Anyway, I going to rant about the story because I totally can relate to some of the character point of view.
I hate Martin SO MUCH! He's so annoying that I want to punch him. Like what the hell do you think you're doing!? It's not cool at all to blackmail people and then act like you're friends and what make you think it's ok to declared your undying love that way.
Leah is the character that I can relate to. In the movie there's a scene where she said she always feels like an outsider and it's like she watching the party from across the room.I totally get it. Many times I was having fun with my friends, hanging out, going on trips and I have fun, but still there's like some part of my brain that observe the scene, not participate in it.
About blue, I'm a little bit frustrated with the movie version actually. That scene when he kissed a girl is just no. It's just not sth he'd do. Moreover, I couldn't believe that blue would abandon Simon like that. Especially after he was outed by Martin and has to deal with some shit from the people at school. It's really irritated me because blue should be his moral support!
Love Simon was perfect and no one can tell me otherwise
