Question. I found a really great fanfiction. The only problem is, it's p*rn with plot, so I've been reading it for the plot and skipping the s*x scenes. Is this valid for an asexual?

Of course, that’s entirely valid.

For me, I’m a repulsed asexual, and whenever I find works with s*x, I tend to stop reading them entirely because I feel like skipping the chapter with s*x will make me miss something, but that’s just me!

Every asexual is different, and everybody handles those sorts of situations differently. If you still read for the plot and just skip the s*x, that’s perfectly fine!

And on the flip side, it’s also perfectly fine to quit reading the book or read the s*x, scenes. It’s entirely up to you; whatever makes you comfortable.
