Happy Father’s Day, everyone.

Today we recognize the men brave enough to step up to the plate and guide their children through life. Today isn't about the fathers, it's about the dads. The ones who never give up on us, always support us, and help us out when we fuck things up.

To those whose dads have passed on, remember them today, remember the good times and the bad and embrace it because, while no dad is perfect, they sure as hell are pretty awesome.

To those whose fathers are pieces of work, there will be someone who will step up and do your father's job and that man, that will be your dad, and maybe he's already right there.

I love my dad. The way we are able to bounce off each other is something special. Just us. No one else. A little bubble forms as we discuss spacetime, black holes, God, and social life. As heavy as these topics are, doing them together is light. We laugh. A lot.

We go deeper and deeper into our questions about the universe. Space feels so infinitely vast, but with my dad, it's not so scary anymore. It's fun.

I love my dad :)

Every time I see a little girl and her dad happily talking to each other in Spanish, I have to fight back tears so hard because it always reminds me of my dad. He’s not dead or anything like that, I just really love my dad.

My dad is the funniest guy in the entire world and everyone needs to acknowledge this right now
