Lgbtqia2+ - Tumblr Posts
Thank you for all the interaction and kindness on my last post!
My name is Margaux and I am also known as Retrophiliac. I am Autistic, OCD, ADHD - I have Anxiety as well. I am self employed and an activist and advocate based out of western Canada. One of my pins is even in the Museum of Vancouver's openMOV!
I design pins, patches, stickers, keychains, magnets and so much more.
The items have a disability, neurodiversity, autistic focus - as well as really cute retro inspired designs.
I am on Etsy and I also have my own shop Shop best for USA & Canada.
Etsy will handle VAT, VOSS and IOSS for international orders.
But it's entirely up to you. My shopretrophiliac site has a larger selection including fidgets.
I also post frequently on instagram, facebook and tiktok.
P.S:
I run a few awesome facebook groups:
Made by Autistics Marketplace and Community
Autistic inclusive dating and friends
Neurodivergent Skills Connect
Disabled Entrepreneurs/Self Employed in British Columbia
Thank you <3
So awesome!
I read through all the disability tags and boy, I'd be COVERED in them if I wore one for everything wrong with me! 😂😅

My main focus with my advocacy work is to push for greater resources and funding for disabled small business owners, as I firmly believe it is the most accommodating employment for those who want it. I am a board member of BC PEOPLE FIRST and we do really important work.

I have been receiving some less than stellar comments on some of my content, so sharing this post with your supportive network would be something I would be grateful for. I want to reach the people who will benefit from the work I do, to hopefully create better and more understanding experiences.
The entire goal I have is to help people.
Thank you so much!
Them: You don't look queer.
Me: Oh, I'm sorry. Let me just get changed..
HAPPY AROMANTIC VISIBILITY DAY!!
It’s okay to not be ready
I’m constantly having to remind myself of this, especially as I grow older and whenever I see LGBTQIA2+ related stuff in the media.
Even though I’ve already posted about my gender online in the past and used to be very open about it, I’ve become more sheltered about who I am because of my insecurities. I’m living in a very liberal city and all of my irl friends are openly queer, but yet I still struggle on a day-to-day basis to tell people the truth about my gender identity and hope to Satan that people don’t somehow find out about it. It’s hard, and I’m both really jealous and proud of everyone out there who is able to be so open about themselves to the world.
But anyways, I wanted to write this post to remind people who haven’t came out yet at all or who’re dealing with similar issues as me that it’s okay.
It’s okay to not be ready to tell people. It’s okay to need time. It’ll take time to gather the strength, but it’ll be worth it in the end.
No matter the circumstances, you are valid.
Sorry for the rambles after being afk for so long. It will happen again.
Posting this on my anti-LGBTQIA2+ “grandfather”’s birthday so lessgo
HAPPY PRIDE MONTH
As a fellow member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I wish you all an amazing month of June. And don't forget that this page is a safe place for anyone, no matter what gender, sexuality, skin color and ethnicity. I love you all, and STAY GAY (or anything in the LGBTQIA+ hihi)
