Anyone else ever think that polyamory would be the perfect solution to portray and combine show-season-1-Lestat's jealousy and book-Lestat's love for absolutely everything mortal and vampire on earth? Like, hear me out:

I don't think that Lestat's jealousy is rooted in the need to be the only person that Louis loves, not really. It's rooted in his abandonment issues and the fear that Louis falls in love with someone else AND then wants to leave Lestat. But what if other people joined the relationship - then there would be no need for Louis to ever leave him.

Not saying it would be a healthy or non-toxic kind of polycule, but so aren't almost all of the canon relationships.
