Yugioh Was A Big Part Of My Childhood. It Was Crucial In Defining Who I Am.

Yugioh was a big part of my childhood. It was crucial in defining who I am.

It's tragic that Takahashi died too soon, and my deepest condolencesgo out to his family and those close to him.

Thank you, Takahashi, and rest in peace. We'll carry on your legacy.

I've Grown Up Reading And Watching Yu-Gi-Oh! And It Has Given Me Such Good Memories. I Have Drawn Yugi

I've grown up reading and watching Yu-Gi-Oh! and it has given me such good memories. I have drawn Yugi and other Ygo characters countless times as a kid and I think it has left a mark in my own drawing style. I don't think my art would look the same without Yu-Gi-Oh!

Rest in peace Kazuki Takahashi. Your work means so much to so many people and will live forever in their hearts.

When I first got into Yugioh it was when I saw some boys in my class were playing with cards and tried to shoo me away because I was a girl. I remember eventually being able to watch and play the card game with my own deck and having some of the greatest times in my life.

Then I started watching the anime and fell in love with characters like Mai Valentine. They formed my childhood and I still have some of my old cards to this day.

I stopped after a while because I had to pick up with school and stuff but then something in me, 3 years later, said to just re-watch Zexal. I did and that's what got me back on the Yugioh train. I learned about all the animes and the creator Kazuki Takahashi. When I heard that he died I was crushed. His message to tell people that we have to move on from people that we love is a powerful message that we should all carry on. Thank for being the main part of my childhood and being a great creator. Rip Kazuki Takahashi.

You will be missed. <3

Listening to this after Kazuki Takahashi's death gives me a feeling that this is what yugioh was truly about. Losing someone then learning to carry on. I will greatly miss Kazuki but everything that he created will always stay with all of us yugioh fans. Thank You <3.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Manga Creator Kazuki Takahashi (real Name Kazuo Takahashi) Has Passed Away At Age 60 Due To

Yu-Gi-Oh! manga creator Kazuki Takahashi (real name Kazuo Takahashi) has passed away at age 60 due to an apparent diving accident.

The Coast Guard reportedly found Takahashi equipped with snorkeling gear. Both the Coast Guard and police are currently investigating the events that led up to Takahashi’s death. A person on a passing boat had called Japan’s maritime hotline to report an apparent body, floating 300 meters (about 1,000 feet) from the coast off the resort city of Nago, at about 10:30 a.m. on July 6, 2022.

Takahashi’s Yu-Gi-Oh! manga launched an international hit franchise that continues to this day with card games, anime, toys, and newer manga series. Takahashi won Comic-Con International’s Inkpot Award in July 2015. The award recognizes individuals for outstanding contributions to comics, science fiction and fantasy, film, television, animation, and fandom.
