personally I think we need more characters with scars in non-visible or extremely inconvenient/ “not cool looking” places. Instead of a dramatic slash over one eye we need a slash over the inside of the hands. Or scars on the bottoms of feet, inside of legs and arms, back of the neck etc. also think about how the scar would affect their life- if they’re a sword fighter with a scar over an eye, how would their depth perception be affected? Do they have phantom pain sometimes? Does it get irritated in cold/hot weather? So many things to think about.
