Hello. Sorry I'm bothering you again with another request for Jordelia. Cordelia and James sparring and James thinks that he will beat her, but Cordelia surprises him and defeats him. Matthew, Lucie, Will and Jem (he is visiting, because he had a feeling that one of them would get hurt badly.) are betting on who would win. could en with a kiss if you want. I just want badass Cordelia or Badass Jordelia. What do you think?

Jem ( Brother Zachariah’s )POV

I had a feeling something wasgoing to happen. The injures would be horrific and if I had the chance I had totry and stop it. Jumping on a carriage I set out for Tessa and Will. Tessa, who’shair was still long and brown, with her grey eyes that had softened the day sheheld her first child and truly became a mother. Will, whose blue eyes nowshined most through the girl that called him father. He was starting to grey,but still had a face he did years ago.

Then there was James, mynephew. His eyes were temperamental and harsh from intense sadness. How a boythat young could be hurting that hard was unfathomable. His sister Lucie washappy and bright, but curious and confused on what she truly wanted. Just likeher mother. I could faintly see the outline of the family as I pulled up on thedrive. Tessa stood in a blue gown, her face still young and untouched. Will,slightly older but extremely happy. James and Lucie in elegant clothing thatwas saved for visits like this one.

Then there was Cordelia, mycousin. I hadn’t seen her since I preformed her birth ceremony. She wasbeautiful in a silk peach gown, and her bright hair looked on fire. I couldsense love radiating from her, towards James. The same love that had grown sinceshe was ten. Love that was never to be returned.

I walked towards them all, andthey smiled. We chatted outside for moments, through each other’s heads. BeforeJames spoke up. “Your just in time, Uncle Brother Zachariah, it’s time fortraining.”

James’s POV

I changed into my gear andwent down to the training room. Cordelia sat on a wooden bench, tying leathergloves onto her hands. Uncle Brother Zachariah stood with mother, father, Lucieand Matthew. They wanted to watch the fight. Lucie smiled at Cordelia andMatthew nodded at me. We walked towards each other. “Will you take it easy onme?” she smiled and I nodded. Even she knew I would beat her.

Then before I knew it she spunaround and roundhouse kicked me in the chest. I stumbled back and she laughed.Lucie cheered for her and I heard mother whisper something to father, whochuckled. I threw a punch and she dodged it, throwing her fist up and punchingme in the jaw. I was dazed as she ran back and ran forward again, lifting bothfeet with grace and skill as she double kicked me in the chest. I fell to theground and with my foot, tripped her over.

She fell on top of me,laughing and pushing the red bang out of her face. I smiled and she kissed mycheek before getting up. “Looks like we are done here. Lucie, I’m ready for a midafternoontea, shall we?” she laughed and interlocked her arm with Lucie’s, leaving theroom.

I got up as mother and fatherleft the room with Matthew in tow. Going for tea I presumed. Uncle Brother Zachariahwalked towards me. I assume you’ve noticed. He spoke in my mind. “Assumed what?”How she looks at you. My dear cousinloves you Jamie. I had known this for a while. She made it quite obvious. “Ofcourse I’ve noticed.” Good, keep goodwatch for her for me, will you? I haven’t been a great cousin for her. I wasn’tthere when her father died or when her mother started drinking heavily. Please,be there for her as I wasn’t.

I nodded as he walked out ofthe room. I would try to do what he said.

The Last Hours theories

I finally will share my theories with you Shadowhunters fans on The Last Hours. I will give some theories on the fake marriage and on my Cordelia Carstairs predictions/theories:

The Arranged/Fake marriage

I know there have been rumors or theories about the marriage between James and Cordelia or Grace and Christopher being fake. In my opinion I don’t think that is going to be the scandal/fake marriage. Just because Cassie said one marriage is fake. Some assume Cordelia’s marriage with James is fake or Christopher’s with Grace. 

I think it is actually 

Lucie Herondale and Jesse Blackthorn 

Think about it. Jesse and Lucie are cousins and it sounds very weird, strange and awkward to marry your cousin. Let it sink in that Lucie and Jesse are related. I think she never would have married her cousin, unless the ‘Jesse’ we know isn’t the real one. I think that when Jesse was brought back to life, it was only a part of him. Maybe in their previous lives they were lovers and not related to one another (and part if that soul is in Jesse)

My Character theory on: Cordelia Carstairs

I think that everyone knows about her crush on James, except for James himself. I think she sometimes will be worried about him like Sophie was worried about Jem in Clockwork Angel and Tessa discovered that Sophie was in love with him. 

Her relationship with Alistair:

I think Cordelia and Alistair's bond/family relationship could broken because of two theories:

1. Alistair is hiding a dark secret (not necessary his, could also be his father or mother’s secret) that could ruin the Carstairs name. Like their father, Elias Carstairs,  attempting to do necromancy to bring his brother Jonah Carstairs, his sister in-law Ke Wen Yu and Jem back to life (Those who’ve read TMI and TID know the truth about Jem’s fate.)  Alistair could be doing something dangerous together with his father that could end up with Cordelia being in danger. 

Or 

2. Cordelia knew the truth about what he, Cilve Cartwright and another boy did at The Academy to scare James. (Those who’ve read Nothing But Shadows knows about how Alistair was behaving) and she wanted to tell to her parents, but he, for example, pushes her from the stairs and that almost killed her, but in result lost her memory of that day. Alistair feeling guilty about that he almost killed his sister. It’s just a theory. 

Let’s just pray that The Carstairs will have a happy ending.

Cordelia’s Feelings for James:

I guess that she deep down knows that he doesn’t love her. (or he does, but he doesn’t realize it yet) But tries to stay optimistic about her unrequited love being returned. If she does start to fall in love with someone else or someone will have a crush on her. Maybe she will have a friendly bond with Christopher. 

(Here’s my reason: If you look at Cordelia and Christopher’s flower cards and put them next to Clary and Simon’s flower cards. It kind off look like each other. It’s like Christopher and Cordelia are reincarnated.)

She will develop some feelings for that other person, but will always love James. Cordelia’s Flower card has a Daisy on it. Not is it only her nickname given by James, but the meaning of the flower means ‘Loyal Love’. 

Theory on The ‘Found’ Family Tree:

We know that the family tree has some information missing. I think the first thing is that James and Cordelia couldn’t possibly only had one child. They must had maybe two children. One child in hiding perhaps or they had to gave one up? 

The death dates of some character are all close to one another. Which is also suspicious. And Why do I not see Matthew Fairchild’ s name

Please tell me I’m not the only Matthew x Cordelia shipper on Tumblr!!!! It’s under rated and has so much potential! (still respect jordelia shippers though) Is it weird that I like both ships? Jordelia is adorable and is valid unlike Fairstairs... But Fairstairs feels more mature than James and Cordelia’s first love. I don’t know!!!! This is TID all over again. Cassie said that CoI will be one of the saddest books in TSC. Has anyone even read the epilogue of Clockwork Princesses!! Chain of Iron is going to break me.

I hope we get some Fairstairs action in CoI!!! Matthew and Cordelia together are so underrated. I’m okay with jordelia but I’m rooting for the under dog here! Jordelia seems to be endgame but I don’t think Cassie randomly made Matthew a part of the love triangle. Cassie has already done childhood love with Emma and Jules. She’s done first live with Clary and Jace. She has also done a poly relationship with Kieran, Mark, and Cristina. She’s even done different timeline loves with Will, Jem, and Tessa. She wouldn’t repeat any love triangles because that would be boring. Matthew and Cordelia wouldn’t apply to any of those plots. Jordelia would fit into first love/childhood love. I’m grasping on to anything here! I just hope this love triangle doesn’t get too messy!

This is going to be a loooong ride!
