Desmond / Descole as Jekyll and Hyde
Happy Halloween! I’ve worked a lot as of late on this so I hope this looks alright.
This idea has been stewing in my mind for about a year or two with the hope that someday I can make an animatic for it to the musicals music. But I’m happy to have even made just a poster-esc type drawing.

The Riddle Professor Layton Edit
I made this back in 2018 after seeing the youtube P.L edit with a different version of this song. Getting me to look for it and editing it but I remember liking the concept but felt a bit limited by the clips. So I put the idea to the side to make an animatic one day and eventually started sketching drafts for it last year or the year before. Hopefully this year I will draw more for.
So the rough idea is having the characters show in the edit singing to the corresponding characters in a circle maybe underground London at the other trying to win favour with the viewer or Professor as the games. I hope you like it!

Just a fun little Descole piece as a calm and taking it easy kind of drawing. Though after drawing him I wasn’t sure what to do with the background and came across some eternal diva scenes at night and thought to try that, I hope it looks alright!
(I’ve also been playing Princess Peach Showtime lately and finished all the Dashing Thief Peach levels which also helped with inspiring this vibe.)

Posting this here for the off chance it might be seen more to get a better idea of which to do.
Short synopsis of the songs with song links on keyword:
Transformation, focuses on Doctor Jekyll when he makes the elixir with a optimistic mindset only to transform to Hyde at the end. Most of the animation will consist on drawing Desmond till the last few seconds with Descole and him getting ready in his usual fit.
Confrontation, is when Doctor Jekyll has his final confrontation against Mr. Hyde. It shows a lot of emotion and range through its voices. It would allow a more back and forth approach between Desmond and Descole as an animatic.
IT’S FINALLY DONE! My first animatic... can’t believe this thing is ready (as I’ll ever be heeeeh) Anyways, AU SYNOPSIS: Following unwound future’s premise, future Layton, the Devil in a Top Hat, will do anything to bring back Claire... Now his gentlemanly past self, some new and old friends (and enemies) rise together to stop him!

Desmond would be that kind of guy who would press a button that says "Don´t press me" . He just wants to know what´s gonna happen after he pressed it.
Thats like, one thing I learned from him after Azran legacy and the story he told about almost crashing the Bostonius. Because he wanted to find out what would happen to the Bostonius if he would push it to it´s limit by going faster.
Little Des preparing for the Azran without knowing that he is kicking ass like a pro in the future. With that thought, Happy Sycamore Sunday!!!

I think it’s funny Layton has only dueled Descole with a metal pipe bc I think if Descole was in the situation of having to use a pipe as an improvised weapon that thing would not read as a sword like object to him and he would start wielding it like a bat
