Birthday Interview under the cut!
Phoebus: Ara, I'm amused by how lively ramshackle is ...to think they all managed to prepare this right under my nose. I even redacted my pending notice for an interview from the newspaper club due to the inconvenient schedule. Yare yare...who might be the unlucky interviewer be. Fate never really favored me.
Riddle: Unlucky? Oh by no means are you incorrect Phoebus-san, but not in the context you put it...
Phoebus: (!) Riddle-senpai?
Riddle: Tsk, you almost had me and the whole dorm break a rule of the Queen of Hearts due to that stunt you pulled. Thankfully Trey-san informed me of the celebration right before preparations for an unbirthday party were set afoot. What were you thinking?
Phoebus: Gomenne... I simply thought everyone could use the rest given the extravagance of Draconia-senpai's celebration yesterday. Besides, what's one birthday missed.?
Riddle: Tut tut miss that's not only sabotaging a rule of heartslabyul but also deviating from a tradition of Night Raven College. Now I see it..the dice must've chosen me to correct such erroneous manners. I honestly expected more from you Phoebus-san.
Phoebus: Right right...I should've known better, I deeply apologize for the inconvenience..
Riddle: No, you can apologize by taking the gift I prepared the last minute, even with the inconvenience of time I won't allow such factor to keep me from doing my utmost best in tasks. Go on..open it.

Phoebus: This...is this even within the estimated budget?
Riddle: I- of course it is! Why would I go overboard the provided funds?
Phoebus: H.. no no I'm just highly amused is all. Scratch that I'm more stunned...where did you even manage to scramble for boxing gloves on the get go?
Riddle: Unlike Kingscholar-senpai I'd rather not disclose such information, but you needn't worry...I just so happen to know a perfect place at the perfect time. I vividly remember Trappola muttering something of the subject, even hearing your name a few times along with that beastman from your class.
Phoebus: Jack.?
Riddle: yes, him. Initially I would've gifted you something within my field of expertise, there was a rather fine headdress on display in town but I was stopped by Cater. Mentioning your uncanny treatment to your hair...so I settled with that once I was on the brink of seeking a more unconventional gift.
Phoebus: (Is this not unconventional enough..?) I'm surprised you even thought of that...you're not wrong to follow your memory as well, as expected of Riddle-senpai. Thank you for the gift! I haven't had the time to indulge in the one sport I'm confident in... I'll be sure to use this dearly.
Riddle: As you should, a gift is meant for the receiver. I'd be more offended if you didn't use it for its intent.

Riddle: I'm relieved that despite the dice being random in its choices...the questions remain as is.
Phoebus: For convenience and fairness it seems...or laziness on someone's part.
Phoebus: Shame, Yuuken would've been a good partner. Hm island partner huh...depending on where exactly this island is...you would think I'd choose Jade-senpai since we have a good dynamic..then again in an island..would Jamil-senpai be a good option? Ah, I've got my answer.
Riddle: Do tell..ah here. I'm sure you've already had your fill.. "If you could take someone with you to a deserted island, who would you choose" but you can't choose students of the same dorm. I trust that it'd be a tad bit easier for you since you only had the prefect and or grim.
Riddle: I was half expecting you to go off like Shroud senpai, who do you wish to take?
Phoebus: Ruggie-senpai!
Riddle: Ah bucchi- Bucchi?!
Phoebus: Mhm! I have a good grasp of his background along with my own specialties. I'd say we'd make a decent pair in a deserted island. Ruggie-senpai is fast and has a knack for survival even in dire situations, and someone of his caliber knows when to go in for the bounty or when to give up. Tenacity is important but keeping yourself alive is just as needed.
Riddle: Now that you mention it you do have merit in your choice... I remember the last magift games, so I'd say it's true.
Phoebus: I think the only conflict we'd run into would be shifts but other than that, I'm confident in him should the time come an island is my environment. Besides his openness to food is a bonus, as someone who has a rather er... hefty metabolism, I can relate to just wanting to have your fill.
Riddle: Fill you say. An island is a place where it's full of natural resources...how you take them is what counts, the dangers that lurk on a deserted island surrounded by cruel water is as fickle as a dice. But I trust your judgment basing on your reasoning. Still I half expected you to choose someone more on the sharper side, that's what I heard from Leech anyways..
Phoebus: Ara, I hope you hear good things from him about yours truly. Then again perhaps my mindset isn't as set as one would assume. It's just the same as me assuming that Riddle-senpai would choose Trey-senpai, that would be pretentious of me right?
Riddle: Touché... well then, it just goes to show that more lies beneath the surface. Then again assumption is a variation of instinct, a key to survival...at least, that's what I heard. You can indulge me in psychological warfare another time first year. On to the next question...
"If you're given the chance to move to another dorm, which dorm will you choose"
Phoebus: That's rather easy, Scarabia.
Riddle: ...not even going to consider the other six? Heartslabyul has a wonderful demeanor of exceptional and orderly, and you seem to be highly fond of Trey-san's creations. Do tell how you reaches your fast conclusion..
Phoebus: On the contrary, I've wondered about a similar question long ago, I knew in my own heart that if I were to reside in another dorm outside Ramshackle, I'd choose the one that...feels the closest to my own home. Others might know this but, I hailed from an archipelago country near the highest points of heat. "Why not savanaclaw?" You wonder, as much as the dry open lands and the feast of meat is enticing...it still misses another factor I consider.
Riddle: Archipelago.? Much like the Queendom of roses...but given that, why not consider Octavinelle as well? The waters surrounding the dorm must hold at least some sort of nostalgia to what surrounds your home.?
Phoebus: Oc..tavinelle.. Riddle-senpai, keep this out of the papers, I'll be honest with you. When I first came here I actually wanted to explore that dorm...as you've said, it's water's surrounding the dorm remind me of the oceans that guard the pearl of the Orient Seas which I came from. The ethereal fracture of sunlight illuminating the ever vibrant dorm, the blue wisps that seem to house aquatic life forms that beckon you into another world beyond land. Yes...I hold fondness for all these, admittedly still to this day.
Riddle: How descriptive of you, and yet your immediate answer was Scarabia, a dorm almost opposite to the wonders you recollected just now, pray do tell what made you choose the one built on the wit of the sorcerer of hot sands.
Phoebus: I may have described the oceans from my home as admirable but, the activity set about on the land itself is what put the nail in the coffin of my decision. The far eastern country... temperatures high and bountiful in reaping, festivals with colorful visage and never ending hardwork against the unforgiving rays of the sun. It's the heat, routine and people that I find more at home with in Scarabia.
Riddle: Hmpf...and here I thought my dorm stood a chance, then again not everyone can handle the reverence heralded by the queen of hearts. Well there's that, this should be the end of the interview..
Phoebus: But not the final act, yes?
Riddle: Fufu but of course, after all my efforts would be in vain should I not uphold the "Lucky Gify". It is after all part of tradition.
Phoebus: Ara.? Very well then, whenever you're-
