I wish there was a way for people to know that I’m thinking about them without needing words. Words are big and clunky. The depth of my feeling gets lost in translation. “I’m thinking about you” pressures for a reply that I’m not asking for. Silence says nothing at all. I need something in between.

I wish that whenever I thought about someone, they’d feel a soft pink glow, like a salt lamp, somewhere in their chest. They’d be feeling it for hours and hours and hours.
