Kagura enters a building with Kagome and Naraku's infant. There is Kanna inside.
Kagura: Well if it isn't Kanna.
Kanna offers her a shred of the Shikon Jewel laying on her palm.
Kagura, confused: Eh? A Shikon shard?

Just thinking that this way of Kagura's to put on a bored face is somehow a trick to hide the fact that she's the only one there in the middle unknowing of the big boss's big plans (for no fool the big boss is, that's granted).
