ok i know ace’s death ended up being plot relevant to a bunch of characters after it happened but like… cmon COME ONNNNN he was finally accepting that he didn’t want to die!!! it was the same as robin’s ‘I want to live!’ moment and then oda just killed him!!!! ive never been so mad im a sucker for sibling relationships in media and i like a little angst but i think the whole sabo thing was enough??? did we really have to do ace like that???? emotionally im never getting over marineford btw esp after all the other stupid fake-out deaths in the series (ex. pell) whatever i could rant forever abt how much i dislike that plot point but its making me sad so ill shut up now
