Headcanon that many years ago, Claudia Henderson had a one night stand with a random man visiting Hawkins for business which resulted in Dustin.

A few years later, she runs into the man, finding that he’s moved to Hawkins after getting a promotion. She also finds he’s married with a seven-year-old son who would’ve been two or three around the time of the affair.

She vows to never let Dustin know, but for some reason, he forms a strange brother-like relationship with none other than the man’s son: Steve Harrington.
