😭 I was reminded on twitter just before about all the chaos and vitriolic hate directed at Jimin during the trip, because of the trip, and the enlistment.

Maybe that contributed to the sadness radiating off him in that clip. It wasn’t noticeable in the episode itself exactly, or the intro we got on Wednesday, but Jungkooks reassuring back rub, his soft tone. It is so soft I actually don’t think we were meant to hear the ‘that’s why I wanted to come back here’.

The fact this was their last day, what they were facing in two weeks and all that hate, it’s no wonder Jimin looks so sad. The way Jungkook hung to him in the airport, still giving him reassurance, rubbing his back there too. My heart 😭

I've learned to tune out online rage, and I don't seek it out anymore, not even out of masochistic curiosity to understand 'the other side' because it can still suck you in. That's by design.

I'm talking about any topic here, not the hate jikook got before enlisting.

I hope Jimin, too, has found it in himself to ignore all that. I honestly don't think he's constantly online to even see it. He knows who his friends are and cultivates his rl relationships as we all should. It does not serve his energy or his well-being to put any import to what people say online. It's time to realize that online hate does not equate real-life love.

Whatever was going on there between them, I don't think it was about something that happened online. Real-life normalcy was about to become as fleeting as the snow flakes.
