Alright so I think I've solved this mind-wrecking, headache-causing riddle.
I don't want to go on a full essay rn because I'm tired and it's late rn, but. Let me put in short what I believe this means.
FIRST OF ALL, I have to specify that I do NOT believe that Seinru possessed Edolon, but whatever is going on with these two is something different that I will clarify in the near future.
For now? Let me just put in short words what do I think this means.
SLIGHT SPOILERS FOR SBB VOL 12 AHEAD!!!

In SBB VOL 12, if you pay attention closely, you'll see that Seinru uses smileys all along the volume.

HOWEVER, throughout the whole route, Edolon does not use smileys at all. Not even when he's feeling confident and/or he's acting smug, not even there he uses smileys.
Also what we've all already seen, Seinru's personality is sorta charismatic, mysterious, and yet macabre. While Edolon (in SBB 12) goes from being a nervous wreck, to a smug, cocky bastard. And while he's charismatic too, he doesn't have the same level of charisma as his matesprit does.
HOWEVER, when we see him in Vast Error, which is already after the loss of his previous matesprit, not only he has developed quite a similar behavior as the one Seinru usually displayed, but he has also started using smiley faces.
The same smiley faces that Seinru used before.
"B-but Rain! This could still lead people to believe Seinru possessed Edolon! And how is any of this related to that weirdass answer Austin gave us?"
Well, dear reader, this is the part where I tie up everything.
For this, I will use this very specific line of said answer given be Austinado:

Replace "pastrami on rye" with "displaying a charismatic yet quite creepy personality and using smiley faces", yes?
And now, with that replacement, read that line again.
"what if edolon is the guy who really likes displaying a charismatic yet creepy personality and using smiley faces? maybe seinru liked it first and got him into it?"
the rest I think it explains itself alone with this line.

this is a theory that i’ve seen be tossed around quite a bit in the past year or so, and with edolon thought rates at an all-time high given the current events, i guess it’s only fair that i give my take on it:
what if edolon is the guy who really likes pastrami on rye? maybe seinru liked it first and got him into it? god that sandwich question is going to vex me.
