while he didn't anticipate becoming a mother, he doesn't regret it one bit. he'd go back and do it over and over again if it meant adopting murasaki and having her in his life, taking care of her and providing for her to the best of his ability. it was rewarding, really, especially with her progress toward coming more and more out of her shell. murasaki was the best daughter soryn could ever hope or ask for, regardless of everything to come.
