Saw a new physical therapist yesterday for my ankles this time and apparently I have the most hyper mobile ankles he’s ever seen (turning my foot in goes to very nearly a 90 degree angle). So that’s fun. He literally said “woah that’s a lot” when he was measuring it.

I love and hate being disabled

On one hand it's a part of me I embrace and love. I love being autistic and love my hypermobility

On the other hand I hate that I can't do what I used to anymore. I hate the pain I'm in constantly and people thinking of my hypermobility as "body horror" It's my body wtf. I can't go skating as much, I can't go rock climbing almost at all and I can't go on day long walks

I hate that because I'm autistic people infantuate me and treat me differently

I can't do as much at gigs I love being in the pit and before I could be in it the whole gig but now I can only be in it for max 10 mins

Overall I love my disability it's apart of who I am but at the end of the day it's still a disability it's disabling
