UGH the parallel between these scenes- Kongo refusing the drink while Phos agressively takes it. Maybe the drink/icecream(?) Is meant to symbolize looking for a way for other's happiness or something, still tho i think this is a very interesting parallel lol.

So, when rereading the first volume of houseki no kuni I noticed something

So you know how Cinnabar thought this little sparkle thing here was the Lunarians and it disappears quickly?

there is a similar shaped thingamabob in chapter 4. when Phos gets eaten by Ventricosus, but, instead of disappearing, it gets closer and closer until Phos fills that light.

Sooo, is this a freaking foreshadow to how Phos will go to the moon? or is this symbolism to how Phos will fill the role of bringing Cinnabar to the moon? Or even how Phos will be taken to the moon? probably all three combinned lmao. UGH the Foreshadows and symbolisms are top notch and more people should talk about them becuz i am unable to articulate the thoughts in my shell of a brain, pun intended.(ya know, cuz Ventricosus' shell? hehe i funny)

Has anyone caught on to how this was a foreshadow to Phos' development?

I have no idea what this means... is there a connection between water/ice that makes the ones living in/are liquid that makes them prone to knowing things others dont? is that why Phos is also liquidish in their latest form!? did Antarc subconsciously know that Phos is going to become something more than a lustrous??? and since light can be considered a liquid, is that why the lunarians are such know-it-alls'??? I am so confused-

also wait one second- aren't the shells that came from the moon made out of the past gems? Do you think there could be symbolism in Phos filling the holes in the shell? who knows, also ngl... the water in the panel with the eyeball kinda looks like the texture of Amalgam Phos

OH. it seems Phos took welegato's advice.. but- still ended poorly-

So basically for ya'll who don't understand. Welegato was saying that Phos was hurting the gems closest to them(Padparadscha, Yellow, etc) to help the ones that are have been turned to sand, or it could be interpreted that Welegato was talking about how Phos wants to save Cinnabar(and the others) despite the fact that Cinnabar and the other earth gems aren't even close and connected to Phos in the slightest. Soooo- thats hurts- also WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE WELEGATO'S ADVICE HM???? It WAS good advice. and ngl if Phos actually followed it... Aechmea's plan would be ruined and everyone would still suffer... and Phos wouldn't be as happy as they are with the new rock race... nvm I guess it's good Phos didn't follow that advice-
