A Shadyside urban legend: the land of lost souls
This was originally written to be a part of @rainbowshipping Dark!FrisbeeCamp AU (@darkultimatefrisbeecamp). This version is nearly the same as the one I sent to her, except that now it has a title, a minor change in the story, some extra details and grammar correction.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Old Herbert owned a large piece of land around the outskirts of Shadyside, one he used both as a place for his business of dirtbiking, and as the place were him and his family lived, where their house was. It was a popular place where both kids and adults would go to dirtbike, even if they didn’t have a bike or equipment of their own, for old Herbert had plenty they could rent.
Old Herberts’s family was happy and healthy. His only child, a teenage boy named Lester, loved to dirtbike, and was quite good at it. His wife, Alyssa, an extremely intelligent and beautiful woman, loved him and their son very much.
But strange things happened in that land, for it was once a burial ground of Native American tribes, and long ago, when they were forced to abandon that soil, sacred to them, a powerful curse befell on it, but not by the doing of the tribes. It was the Spirits, born of the inherent energy of Nature, entities with who the original inhabitants communed and coexisted with, who were in that place long before there were people to bury, beings that were never human. It was they, who in the anger of seeing all the evil that was being done against those who they saw dearly, who were forced to witness their land being occupied by violent usurpers, made use of their own powers, along with the energies of chaos, death and despair that had been spread by all the violence, to invoke what can best be described as an anchor to bind the dead.
If the colonizers wanted the land so much they would kill for it, them they would have it, but they would find neither the rest or the peace the tribes did in it. Those that fell in that place would never be free, they would have to wander, restless, forever. And so, with the curse, the place once used to lay the dead to rest, became the place the dead would never be able to rest.
And with that, the land became filled with hatred and desperation, with so much darkness that it became a gateway to our world for beings that dwell in the realms of shadows, to creatures of malevolence. They were now draw to that place, like moths are lured to light.
Those that had the blood of the people who respected the Spirits of Nature, and met their end in that terrain, would be taken under their protection in death, safe from the dark entities and other ghosts that wander through that soil. But all others, specially the descendants of the invanders, would have to fend for themselves, alone in that treacherous ground.
And sadly, one day, young Lester suffered a horrible accident while dirtbiking. The injuries where many and terrible. And he did not survive. His life ended on that cursed terrain, and thus while no longer alive, his existence in this realm did not cease completely. For days, old Herbert and sweet Alyssa mourned their dear son, but it was like he wasn’t gone.
More and more, weird and inexplicable events would unfold. Things in Lester’s bedroom would have been moved, as if someone had used them. The TV would turn on semingly out of nowhere, right on time for Lester’s favorite show and on the right channel. And then they started hearing him. His steps, coming closer to them. His voice, reaching out to them. Eventually they even started seeing him, wandering around the hallways of the house or around the dirtbike field, but never for long, always only a glimpse.
And then one night, while they were having dinner, he appeared fully. It started with a weird feeling creeping throught old Herbert’s and Alyssa’s spine. Then the diningroom became cold, as if they were outside during the worst of winter. And that’s when the lights started flickering, and what seemed like a glitch happened right at the entrance to the room. A glitch, just like of those that happen in computers, machines Herbert could barely understand but were masterfully used by both Alyssa and Lester. Except this glitch wasn’t happening in a machine, it was happening in real life.
As if an event so powerful, so outside of what’s accounted as possible by the laws of both Nature and Physics, was taking place right there inside their house. As if reality itself, or at least reality as they knew it, was being tore apart in front of their eyes. The glitch lasted only for a moment, a blink and you’ll miss it situation, and then it was gone. In it’s place, was Lester. It was something they could not explain, but it happened.
In a split second their Lester was not there, and in the next he was. Someway, somehow, from that glitch their son entered once again in the world of the living. He somehow managed to project his spirit from the place it was, trapped in the Veil. Not really here, not really there. But now, he was back. Old Herbert and Alyssa were in disbelief, but happier then they were ever since their son had died.
Of course, Lester wasn’t truly back. As impressive as it is for a ghost to physicaly manifest, even if such manifestation is in a place marked by death and with an abundance of mystical energy, such materialization dosen’t make them any less ghosts. And all ghosts, all souls that for some reason don’t move on after death, are bound to the place were their life ended. Therefore, Lester’s binding to his place of demise is not exclusively due to the curse, even though it was strengthened by it. What the curse did to Lester is to deny him any chance of moving on. The curse makes it so that anyone that perishes on the land has no choice but to stay.
It’s very likely, that if it wasn’t for the spiritual anchor that holds all souls on that terrain, Lester’s soul would have just moved on to the realms beyond. But in that place that was never was a possibility for him. Or anyone.
And so he’s there to this day, with his parents. A ghost that can take a physical form. Unable to grow. Unable to age. Unable to leave. And, for the better or worse, he wasn’t the only dead soul to wander on that land. Many had perished in there since the curse was set, but none had manifested before. At least not to Old Herbert’s family.
Perhaps Lester was able to do so, apparently unlike the other ghosts before the event, because of his emotional connection to his parents, wich he could have used to force himself back into our reality. Perhaps the Veil was holding too strong for them to cross before, and for some reason Lester managed to open a windom in it. Perhaps that’s not the reason at all, and the other ghosts simply didn’t know crossing to this side of reality was possible. Maybe they did, but simply didn’t care. The only thing the family knew when it came to this, is that the supernatural events in that place became far stronger and more frequent after Lester’s walk through the Veil.
Either way, old Herbert and Alyssa didn’t care about about the strange ocurrences. All they cared about was their son. They would investigate the legends and try to find a way to help him. Perhaps there was a way to make peace with the Spirits, show them that they were not like their ancestors, that they mean no harm and only want peace. Maybe then the curse will be lifted.
But if that wasn’t possible and their son was forced to be there forever, so would they. If that was the case, they just needed to wait. After all, one day death will come for them too, and they would make sure that it was on that land. So they can always be a family. Together. Forever.

Buffy Discroll: The Vampire Slayer
Andi Mack AU were monsters and magic are real and Buffy keeps her town safe.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
A Vampire, with a mouth still stayned with warm blood from his last victim, runs throught the night in the streets of Shadyside. A young girl also runs in the night, the creature near her, adrenaline making her go faster than she already is. It's a chase, a game of cat and mouse. Predator and prey. Life and death.
They were running for what seemed like forever, but soon there was nowhere to run. A dead end in a dark alley. Game over. The prey was cornered. The Vampire stopped, and so did the girl.
"You know, for a Vampire, you're really slow. Or is it just that I'm too fast? Yeah, that's what it is."
The Vampire, who had been looking at the wall of the alley in desperation, slowly turns around in fear. A feeling he had not truly felt in a long, long time. Staring at him, blocking the only way in and out of this dead end he found himself in, was the same young girl who had attacked him and his brethren as they fed on a lost, wandering junkie. Him being the only survivor of his group.
The girl was tall, with curly hair, dark skin, intense and powerful brown eyes and a determined and imponent expresion on her face. She was dressed in a sports suit and running shoes, prepared for a hunt and a battle, with a hoodie to help in the cold city night. Couldn't be less then 18, but definitely not older than 20. Feeling the smeel of her blood, coursing rapidly through her veins with the vigor of youth, the Vampire was able to pinpoint an age. 19 years old. So young, and yet her presence screamed power, like a one woman army.
The girl produced a triangular silver dagger, and the Vampire took a step back. Not only was a weapon like that perfect to kill Vampires with, but her's seemed to be different. Special. Improved. There were signs marked all over the blade he recognized as magical. He had no deep knowledge of magic and how exactly it worked, all he truly learned about it in all his many, many years as an undead is that it was real, powerful and could make pretty much anything happen. Usually trouble, in his opinion, specially if it was used against him. He also noticed the handle of the dagger looked ornamented, as if a skilled artist had made it for the warrior that wielded it to not only be functional, but also beautiful.
The more he noticed of her, the more he realized how much of a threat he was facing. She knew what he was. She had seen what he's done. She had a weapon that was not only perfectly adequate to kill the likes of him, but had also been strengthened by magic. She knew how to fight. She was fast. And she surely wished to end him, just like she had done with his hunting party. Cowering, the Vampire asked:
"Who... Who are you?"
The girl smiled and answered, with a tone of sarcasm:
"Me? I'm Buffy. Buffy Discroll. The last person you'll ever meet"
With that, she plunged forward. The Vampire dodged, but before he could counterattack, she had already positioned herself to strike him in the heart. With the agility and precision of an Olympic athlete, Buffy attacked and hit him in heart with surgical precision, the magical markings in the dagger lighting up as it made contact with the enemy.
The last thing the Vampire felt before his body dissolved to dust, as it happens when they're truly killed, was the triangular blade piercing his skin, and a strong pain that originated in his chest and quickly spread through his entire body. And with that, he was no more.
The battle was won, and at least for tonight the town was safe. Or, at the very least, safer than it was before.
And so, Buffy started her walk towards home. While making her way through the streets, she hid her weapon back in her hoodie's specially designed pocket. And as she did, she remembered of how she got this magical dagger, a present from her best friends, Andi Mack and Cyrus Goodman, for her 19th birthday. She remembered how surprised and happy she was when she saw it, and how her friends told her how they specialized it for her themselves.
Thinking of her friends, and the amazing things they had done for her, made Buffy's walk to her house seem shorter than it was, and when she noticed she was already in her street. Once she reached her home, Buffy went straight to her room and layed down on her comfortable bed. She then called Marty, her longtime friend turned boyfriend, who she knew since middle school, to talk to him about the events of that night. He was one of the few persons in her life, along with her best friends, who knew what she did, of how she made sure to keep the monsters, demons, and overall forces of darkness at bay.
Marty quickly answered the call, and after greeting her and making sure she wasn't injured, the boy just went right to it and asked:
"How did it go? Did you get them all?"
"Yes, every single one. It was easy, they weren't really good in fighting. Or maybe they just didn't expect a young girl would be able to take them down, and when they realized how wrong they were it was too late for them. Either way, I won. Like always."
"Yeah, like always... Just don't get cocky, okay? I know that you know very well what you're doing, but please take care and don't underestimate this things. I worry!"
"I know. And I do take care. And I promise you that I won't underestimate anyone or anything, and give them the change of getting the best of me... I'm too smart for that!"
She added that last part knowing it would make him roll his eyes. Even though she couldn't see him, she knew it's what he was doing. A smile appeared in her face picturing that.
"Yeah, okay Discroll. I know you're trolling with me. But since were at it, I just realized something."
He said, his voice changing in a way that Buffy knew meant he would say something he found amusing, but would make her cringe. But alas, she knew he would say it no matter how much she tried to stop him, so she just went with it and asked:
"What is it Marty?"
"You just took down an entire group of Vampires by yourself. You know what that makes you?"
She could picture the adorable yet infuritating smile that was surely blooming on his face now.
"Marty... Don't you dare -"
"Buffy the Vampire slayer!"
It was now Buffy's turn to rool her eyes.
"That's it. Bye Marty! Goodnight!"
She said with as much obvious sarcasm as she could muster, and the last thing she heard before ending the call was Marty's voice, clearly full of himself, saying:
"Goodnight babe!"
All Buffy did after that was release a lighthearted laugh, and then she allowed her tiredness to take over her, and swiflty drifted into a deep and peaceful slumber. A rest long awaited after such a day. And night.

The dagger
A short story telling the origin of Buffy's magical dagger from my other story, "Buffy Discroll: The Vampire Slayer".
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was the 19th bithday of Buffy Discroll, a young girl who unbesknownst to the world risked her life every day and night to keep her town, Shadyside, safe from malevolent creatures that prey on unsuspecting humans. From Vampires, Demons, and all sort of creatures of darkness.
She was in her room with her best friends, Andi Mack and Cyrus Goodman, to spend some alone time with them before they went out to celebrate her day with others of her social circle, including her boyfriend Marty. After talking for a while, Cyrus and Andi looked at other with a smile on their face, and told Buffy they had made something special for her.
Cyrus then proceeded to search for something inside the backpack he brought with him, and from it he took out a small, yet beautiful and colorful wooden box, that Andi proudly said she made it herself, but Buffy had already recognized her friend's work the moment she saw it. He handed it to Buffy, and they both said it was her birthday gift.
She opened the box, that was lined with silk, and inside was a beautiful dagger, with markings on the blade she knew were magical, and a beautiful ornamented hilt. Remembering that their friends said they had made something for her, she immediatly understood that the magic was Cyrus'es doing, and the hilt and the box were Andi's.
She was marvelled by what their friends had done, and after thanking them and giving them a big hug, she asked how did they come across this weapon, and how they worked on it. It was a story her friends were more then happy to tell.
Cyrus told her that he saw it in it's "raw form", as in withouth the mystical markings and ornaments, at Shadyside's only magic shop, called SpellSide, where he occassionaly goes to ever since he found out he had magic in his blood, something he got from one of his ancestors and that had been dormant inside him for a long time. The triangular, silver dagger was being sold as an Athame, a ritual instrument that can be used to direct energies during spells. Knowing Buffy's birthday was coming up, and her seemingly never ending fight angainst malevolent creatures that most people in the world have no idea even exist, he bought the Athame, seeing the potential it could have as weapon, specially with some modifications, for someone like her.
With the dagger in his possession, Cyrus went to Andi, a great craftswomen and artisan, who can turn even scrap into a beautiful thing that belonged in an art exposition. He showed her the Athame and told her of how he wanted to give it to Buffy as a present in her 19th birthday, to help her against whatever enemy she encounters. He said he would use his magic to add powerful properties to the blade, but wanted Andi to make the hilt beautiful, yet tactical and easy to handle. A gift from both of them. She knew just what to do. In a week, Andi had completed her part. An elegant, beautiful, ornamented and easy to use hilt was the result of her work.
Then it was Cyrus'es turn to do his part. He had been preparing himself while Andi was morking on her contribution, selecting the sigils, glyphs and runes he would carve on the blade, and what spells and incantations he would use to charge them with magic. By the end of that week, he was ready. Once he got the dagger back from his artist friend, who was now working on a box to present the dagger in, he began working on it, using both his magic and a carving kit that he got around the time he first started enchanting items. After an entire day solely focused on this task, it was done.
And now, a couple days after the project was done, Buffy was receiving the product of their work. The girl was beyond grateful not only for the gift, but for their friends, who through the years had made amazing things for her, and now had done so once more. Her friends never, who never failed to surprise her. Who she knows will never stop surprising her with their love and creativity.
After hearing this, Buffy thanked and hugged them once more, with tears of joy flowing from her eyes, as she hoped she could always do the same for them, to always be not only the friend they wanted, but also the friend they needed. She sometimes wondered about the choices she made, about whatever she hadn't took a wrong turn at some point of her young life, but being there, with her best friends, who she knew for nearly her entire, those doubts faded away.
If those amazing people loved her that much, and wanted to be next to her and help her in any way they can, then she must have done things right. At least when it comes down to the choices that matter.

—————————————————————————
Kathryn and Jonathan Beck were on their way to their new home on Shadyside, husband and wife ready to turn to a new page in their lifes in a new place. They were moving to that town due to the couple wanting a quieter, calmer life that city just couldn’t offer, and Shadyside provided both life quality and good job opportunities, with good salaries for people of their line of work.
They were not much far now, but it was already night, and it was raining heavily, so they decided they would spend the night in a road motel. A few miles ahead they found a place, a two stores high building with an unnocupied parking lot up front, marked by a bright red neon sign presenting the Motel Crimson Line.
They stopped there, and after parking the in the before empty open garage, they ran through the rain towards the a door close to them that had “Reception” written on the door. Inside they found a man that appeared to be on his late 40’s, who had a lost and aloof look in his eyes and heavy bangs beneath them, as if it had been a long while since the last time he had a good night of sleep. Upon seeing them, the man’s eyes directed to his newly arrived clients and stared at them with the intensity of a focused laser.
“Welcome to the Motel Crimson Line! I’m Phil, owner of this stablishment. How may I help you?”
The man said to them with a disposition and happiness that, while welcomed, seemed umchariterisc considering the tired look on his face. Phil then smiled at them, with only made him seem even more uncanny, and even disturbing when combined with the way he stared at the Beck’s.
A thunder roared and lightened the darkness of outside for a moment, and the rain was getting even stronger.
“We would like a room for tonight, do you have any rooms avaiable?”
Said Kathryn. Phil’s smile grew even larger, and he turned his attention towards her.
“Yes, I do have rooms avaiable! In fact, you’re very lucky, you are my only clients tonight! That means you automatically get the best room in the Motel!”
John and Kathryn looked at the other, one trying to figure out what the other thought about this. They were clearly both unsettled by Phil, but they also didn’t have much choice other than stay due to the heavy rain growing stronger outside. After a moment of studying each other expression, both silently acknowledged to each other their decision.
“We’ll take your best room then.”
Johnatan said. Phil’s attention now turned to the man, his necking moving like a mechanical owl to look better at him. His large smile still on his face.
“Splendid! I’m sure you’ll love it!”
After adjusting the details of their stay, Phil guided the couple to their room for the night. It was on the second floor, a little far away from the other rooms in that level, enough to make it seem like it’s own separate place. On the door it read “Room 999”.
“Here we are!”
When the motel owner opened the door to them and turned on the lights on the room, they saw something very different them they expected. The place was beautiful, clean and fancy, with a beautiful, large and certainly comfortable bed and a breath taking decoration. This is did not seem like a road motel, it looked the honeymoon suite of a five-star hotel. They were brought back to reality by Phil’s voice.
“So what do you think? Beautiful, isn’t it?”
The Beck’s looked at him, who had retreated to the barely lit corridor to give them passage to the room, and for a moment they scared. Even though they knew it was Phil, the darkness that nearly covered him gave the few aspects of him that could be seen appeared terrifying. The contorn of his body seemed almost non-human, as if he was a living shadow, his eyes appeared to stand out, almost as if they were glowind with a dark light, and his smile now seemed more like a predator showing all it’s sharp teeth.
They blinked a few times, and the man in the corridor seemed to look somewhat close to normal again, as if it was only a illusion caused by the darkness or their tiredness. Or at least that’s what they told themselves. Kathryn cleared her throat, and gave him an answer.
“Yes, very beautiful. I, we, don’t mean to be rude, but we are really tired, so if you don’t mind will get right in and get some sleep.”
His smile somehow semeed grown even further even, and for a moment they once again had the impression his eyes were glowing with that sinister dark light once more.
“Of course, of course! If you need anything at all, you can find me at the reception. And please, enjoy your stay and have a good night!”
The couple thanked him and wished him good night as well, but before he went too far, Kathryn turned around and asked something that she had been wondering ever since she saw the room number.
“Excuse me, I have just one question: why is this Room 999? They’re aren’t nine hundred room’s over here, or even nine floors, so is there a special reason why?”
Looking at her directly in the eyes and with a very serious voice, he gave her an answer.
“Yes, there is a special reason. In fact, it’s a very, very special reason. You see, that number has a very important meaning to the room’s architect, who I hold in very high regard. So as a homage, this one became Room 999.”
Once he stopped talking, he kept looking at her with the same serious look for a moment, and then opened his big smile once more.
“Are there any more questions you would like to ask?”
“No, thank for your answering.”
“Oh, you’re welcome!”
He answered, in what seemed light hearted fashion but felt like a sinister comment. And then he turned around, and made his way back to where he came from, and Kathryn went back to the room.
Once she got in and closed the door there another lightning, even brighter and louder than the last one, and the rain seemed to somehow get even stronger. The couple looked at each other, and once they made sure the door was locked and the windows closed, they sat down on the bed and said what had been on their mind.
“Kat, I know this may seem weird, but… this place, and that guy really creeps me out!”
“Yeah, me too… honestly if the rain wasn’t so strong I would definitely want to stay on the road. I don’t know, maybe we’re just tired or something like that, but there’s something that fells wrong about everything in this place. The owner included.”
Jonathan looked at his feet in silence for a moment, while Kathryn also seemed asorbed in her thoughts. Then, he said the only alternative he could think of.
“I think we should just set up our alarms to early in the morning, try to sleep and hope that by the time we wake up the rain has stopped, so that we can leave as soon as possible.”
“Ok… fine, just being terrified won’t do us any good. Let’s try to sleep.”
They went to the bathroom, wich had two sinks, to get ready for bed. Kathryn finished brushing her teeth and left, leaving her husband alone in that part of the bedroom.
While she was alone, laying down on the bed, Kathryn couldn’t help but feeling watched, as if someone or something was in the room with her. She wasn’t wrong. While she couldn’t see them, creatures of darkness, marked and mauled by the terrible gauntlets and circunstances, watched her attentively from the shadows, in the dark corners of the room, on the other side of the Veil, the invisible ethereal tissue that separates this world from the other dimensions of reality.
On the bathroom, Jonathan was also feeling watched, growing increasingly more anxious by the feeling there was someone breathing down his neck. When he looked in the mirror, he saw a dark figure behind him. Not the same one he caught a glimpse on as he stared at Phil, this one was bigger, taller and more imponent, the mere sight of it making Jonathan more terrified than he ever was in his entire life. He turned around on reflex, but there was nothing in front of him other then the bathroom wall. He sighed in relief, and after a nervous chuclke, he turned back towards the mirror. The dark figure was still there, but now he realized it was never behind him, it was inside the mirror.
He was paralised in fear, he wanted to scream and run, but his body wouldn’t respond to his wishes. He could do nothing but watch as the powerful figure stretched what seemed like arms, but made of shadows, towards him. As they did, the surface of the mirror seemed to shift, as if it had become liquid, like a river, and the creature was surfacing from the depths. The arms crossed over from what was once a solid reflective surface, and held onto Jonathan’s head. The last thing the men saw before his mind blacked out was the rest of the creature advencing towards him, becoming some kind of dark cloud that entered his body through his mouth, the smell and taste of sulfur, the feeling of being taken over, of having his body highjacked and used by someone else. Something else.
It left the room and went straight to Kathryn, who was layed down and covered beneath the sheets, looking at the opposite direction of the bathroom door, and desperately trying to push away her fear and the feeling of being watched. She didn’t see or hear him coming, his footsteps light but decisive, he also layed onto the bed, and then reached out to her.
“Kathryn, listen to me…”
His voice was different, a misture of his own with other, as if there was someone talking behind, at the same time as him, directing what he would say. The sound was hypnotic this voice was hypnotic, compelling, as if it made you weak and wanting for it’s binding.
“I need you Kathryn. Now.”
It said while touching her arm. Something was wrong, she knew something was very wrong, but she couldn’t resist. At that moment she could barely think or even properly register what was happening, the voice had done something to her mind, messed with her brain. She could fell something being done to her, but she had no idea of what it was. Before she knew, her mind had blacked out as well.
…
The Beck’s phone alarm made themselves heard at early morning, at the first rays of sunshine. The rain had stopped someway along the night, and given the time and the weather, the road should be clear. The couple could remember nearly nothing of their night, except that they needed to stop in the motel to escape the heavy rain.
They checked out with the owner of the stablishment, a person they barely had any recollection of, but he seemed very excited. They didn’t know about what, and it wasn’t their place to ask. Not to mention something about him seemed terrifiying. When they got to their and hit the road, they felt a sense of relief they couldn’t explain, so strong they both cried. They told themselves they were just overly joyed about starting their life in a new town, where they would have a lot of good opportunities, and have a happy life.
A few hours later, they arrived in Shadyside, where they would put all and those amazing plans in motion.
Nine months later, Jonah Beck was born.

New Outlast 2 fanfic! 🤗 I've been planning it for 5 long years at this point, but finally I managed to publish the prologue (maybe a bit too long, but still... 😅) and that makes me so proud 💪 I'm already writing the first chapter and I can't wait to show it to you ❤️ The story will be extremely long, as it's a sort of horror soap opera and concerns the countless events that took place in Temple Gate before Blake and Lynn's arrival according to both canonical sources and my headcanons, but in any case I hope you'll appreciate it 😁
Okokokokok would anyone be interested in a bts fic with this premise??
mood board for inspo ^^^^
So I’ve just finished replaying the Quarry and I’m so inspired to write a bts horror summer camp type of story??? But maybe slightly interactive where I put out polls about choices?
But something along the lines of the Quarry or Sleepaway camp or Friday the thirteenth or that board game Camp Grizzly, any type of summer camp horror movie you can think of.
(I also don’t know if you all would prefer oc!reader or y/n!reader but lmk)

You never really understood why you were drawn to him—Billy Loomis, Sidney's boyfriend. You envy Sidney, even though there really was no reason to. You couldnt stand the way they were so 'lovey dovey' with eachother. Maybe it was the way he carried himself that got you so captivated by him. Or maybe it was that intense look in his eyes, like he was seeing right through you, and only you. Whatever it was, it made your stomach flip every time he looked your way. The fact he'd rather look at you than pay attention to his girlfriend just made you feel so... weak.
And the craziest part ? You knew what he was. The way he’d perk up when someone mentioned the Ghostface killings, the suspicious look in his eye when the news broke about another victim. You weren’t stupid. You knew.
But instead of fear, it only made you feel more connected to him. Maybe you were messed up too. Maybe thats why, when he asked if you wanted to "help him with something," you didn't hesitate. You were already too far gone.
You didn't just want to kill with him.
You wanted him.
Woodsboro High School, 2:34 PM:
You, Billy, Stu, Sidney and Tatum were all sprawled out on the grass near the entrance of the school, not caring about the classes taking place. You were sitting next to Billy, barely listening to the conversation. Your attention kept flicking over to him, like it always did. He was leaning back, arms crossed over his chest as he listened to the conversation. He caught you staring, his eyes flicked down to your lips before he looked back at the others. Your heart skipped a beat, but you tried to play it cool, hoping no one noticed.
''Hey, i say, fiesta at my house. We'll be fine. Intimate gathering, intimate friends. We'll just forget that Casey got filleted last night.'' Stu joked. Tatum slapped his chest and gave him a dissapproving look. ''Stu, that's not something you just forget. People died. Casey died.'' Tatum added. ''I'll pass.'' Sidney spoke up. Billy looked over at Sidney with a curious look, he wanted her to come. It was all part of his plan. The plan he hadn't shared with you yet...
''C'mon, it'll get you to loosen up a little babe.'' Billy said to Sidney in his usual sly tone. ''babe''. Ugh, it irked you. If only you were his. ''Yeah, you should come.'' you agreed with Billy. Whatever Billy was up to, you were always down to agree. Billy looked at you and gave you a small smirk. ''Im gonna go get something from the vending machine. Wanna come guys ?'' Tatum stood up, looking at all of us for an answer. ''No, i'll just go home. Im pretty tired.'' you said, looking away. ''Yeah, me too. I actually need to get going.'' Billy said, looking at you. ''I could walk you home.'' Billy offered. This could only mean one thing. ''Sure. Thanks Billy.'' you thanked Billy with a smile before you both stood up, walking out the school gate.
During the walk home, you guys just stayed in silence, tension so thick you could cut it with a knife. It was always like this. ''You know i dont love Sidney, right ?'' Billy suddenly spoke up. You looked at him with a look of suprise. ''What do you mean ?'' you asked with a small chuckle, thinking he is just trying to get a reaction out of you. Billy started walking a little slower, looking at the ground. As if he was thinking deeply about something. ''...What i mean is, i dont love Sidney. I like her, but i dont love her. I dont really believe in that stuff. I just wanted you to know...'' Billy said softly as he looked at you, a hint of gentleness in his eyes. You looked away, your heart beating in your throat. You were confused, happy, overwhelmed. A rollercoaster of emotions were going through you. Could this be a hint ? What was he implying ?
You cleared your throat and changed the subject to ease the tension. ''Ahem, so, the party. Whats the plan ?'' you asked him. Billy smirked softly, looking down at the ground again. ''No worries, i got it. You just go enjoy yourself at the party. Keep an eye on Sidney for me, yeah ?'' Billy said. You were starting to be skeptical. What could he possibly be planning in that twisted mind of his ?

You barely made it to your room before collapsing onto your bed, the weight of the night pressing down on you. The ghostface costume was still crumpled in the corner, staring back at you like it knew everything you were thinking.
Billy had dropped you off not too long ago, that gentle look in his eyes still burning in your mind. The way he talked, the thing he said about love and Sidney ?—it stuck with you. You couldn’t shake it. Part of you wondered what he was really thinking, and why you kept falling deeper into this mess.
Your housephone rang, breaking the silence. You grabbed it, half-expecting it to be Tatum or Sidney, but your heart skipped a beat when you saw Billy's number flash across the screen.
''Meet me behind Stu’s place.'' his voice came through low and serious. “We need to talk.”
Your stomach flipped. Talk ? About what ? You knew better than to ask over the phone. Whatever it was, it wasn’t going to be simple. But you couldn’t ignore it either.
You arrived at the back of Stu's house, bringing your knife and mask just in case. The cool night air whispered through the trees, carrying distant sounds of laughter from the party. You saw him waiting in his ghostface costume, his mask off. He looked so devourable, as always. He noticed you walking up to him and grabbed your hand, softly to not hurt you, pulling you towards him. ''What's going on ?'' you whispered, making sure no one heard that you were sneaking around with Billy. ''Tatum and Stu are the next victims, alright ? You don't have to lift a finger. Just go and wait with Sidney for me.'' he answered.
Wait, so soon ? You thought you'd maybe get to hangout with Stu and Tatum more... You've only known them for about a few weeks but you already got attached. Stu's awful humor and Tatum's caring personality. You couldn't lie, you were going to miss it. Your gaze dropped to the ground, the weight of guilt pressing on your shoulders. You felt... guilty.
Billy noticed the guilty expression in your face. He frowned, tilting his head. ''What ? You feel bad ?'' he asked, his expression changing into a cold one. ''I thought we were in this together.'' he murmured. ''You agreed yourself, we would stick together no matter what.'' Billy added, feeling somehow betrayed. ''W-We are, it's just… they haven't really done anything to me you know ? They have been good friends.'' you said, feigning guilt. He stayed quiet for a few seconds before putting his hand on your shoulder. You look at his hand touching your shoulder. You feel his warmth rushing through your skin, feeling the way his hand grazed your shoulder.
You gulp softly before looking at him again, a slight flush on your cheeks. ''Is that why you killed Casey ? Steve ? The principal ? They haven't done anything to you right ? So just try to forget about them, you got me.'' he said, his tone genuine, but also laced with . But you couldn't help it. You loved him too much to refuse anything he asked you to do. You nodded, locking eyes with him for a short moment before both snapping out of it. Billy puts on his ghostface mask and runs to the garage.
You walk inside and push past the others to see Sidney sitting on the couch alone, zoned out and thinking to herself. You sit beside her and give her a smile, which was fake. ''Everything alright Sid ?'' you asked her just to be nice. She looked at you and smiled back. ''I have a feeling you and my boyfriend have something going on.'' she wanted to say. But she didn't like drama, so she shrugged it off, shaking her head. ''I'm okay, I'm just not fond of parties haha.'' she chuckled softly. You nodded and looked away before Sidney looked around. ''Uhmm, have you seen Billy ? or Tatum and Stu ? I cant really spot them.'' she asked you, looking just a little skeptical. ''Huh ? No, I havent seen them. Maybe they left together.'' you answered, looking as innocent as possible. Even though you were the complete opposite of that.
After a while, the party died down and people were leaving. Tatum, Stu and Billy were still nowhere to be found. And Sidney was starting to look concerned. Where could they be ? ''BOO !'' you both turned around quickly to see Billy standing behind you guys with a cheeky smirk. ''Oh, Billy, where were you ?'' Sidney chuckled as they kissed eachother hello. You rolled your eyes discreetly before smiling at Billy. Billy gave you a nod with his head as a greeting, and as a gesture. Tatum and Stu are dead.
''Hey, I kinda need to talk to you Sid. Privately.'' Billy said. Sidney’s eyes lingered on me for a moment too long, her smile faltering as if she didn’t quite know what Billy was planning. Sidney reluctantly agreed before they both went upstairs together, closing the door to the bedroom. You could feel your blood boil. What were they doing ? Why did Billy wanna be alone with HER ?! You were so close to just punching a whole in the wall. Why did he choose Sidney instead of you ? He clearly likes you more then why wont he just ask you out already ?! So many emotional questions were going through your mind you just wanted to know WHY ? You couldn't help but tear up. This couldn't be healthy. You were OBSESSED with him. About 5 minutes passed, and you heard a scream upstairs. Could it really be...?

⁎ author note: i spent the 2 days thinking about what the plot would be lol. but here is a new part !
Your heart was racing as you sprinted upstairs, that scream still echoing in your ears. Was it really Sidney ? You didn’t want to believe it, but when you pushed open the door, there she was—Sidney Prescott, lying in a pool of blood on the floor, motionless. Dead.
And Billy ? He was standing over her, knife in hand, his hair falling down over his forehead, looking at you with that familiar smirk. The one that always made your stomach flip. You should’ve been shocked, maybe even guilty, but all you felt was… relief. Finally. She was gone. No more pretending. No more games. Billy had killed Sidney, and it proved exactly what you’d been hoping for—he loved you.
"You… just killed Sidney..." you said, the words slipping out, more of a statement than a question.
Billy glanced down at her body, then back at you, shrugging like it was nothing. "Yeah. Did you see something else coming?" His voice was sly, that teasing edge you knew too well. "Why else did you think i brought her up here, hm ?"
You didn’t know what to say, standing there frozen, your mind racing. But the truth was, in that moment, you didn’t care. She was out of the picture now.
''But why ? I thought-'' you stammer, trying to play innocent. ''Cut the shit, i know you've been dying to see her bleed.'' he cut you off, the smugness evident in his voice. He was right. Every single sweet gesture, every single word of affirmation, you hated every single second of it. ''You think this is all a game to me ? That i don't care about you ?'' he murmured as he steps closer to you slowly, looking at the ground. You take a few steps back before your back hit the wall, looking up at Billy's face, which was full of bloodlust. He didn't stop until your faces were inches away from eachother's. ''You're the only one who gets it, who gets me. Everyone else... they're disposable. But you... you're different.'' he reaches up, brushing a strand of hair from your face, his gaze intense and unwavering. Your face flushes as you swallow the lump in your throat. You were so nervous but you weirdly felt... safe ?
"Don’t you see? This ? us ? It's real. We're the same. You feel it, don’t you? That thrill, that power. No one else could ever understand us like we do." he leans in, lips brushing your ear. "We belong together. No one can come between us now." Billy whispered. You felt his hot breath against your ear as your gaze diverted. Was this really happening ? You tried to speak but the words were stuck in your throat, utterly entranced by his sweet talk. Billy looked at Sidney's lifeless body on the ground before gave you a slight chuckle. ''Sidney, well... she was just part of the plan, a means to an end. Sure, she played her role, but she was never you." his eyes lock with yours with an intensity that makes your breath hitch.
Billy's gaze flickers with something darker now, almost a warning. "Sidney was always living in a dream, thinking she could escape. But you..." he pauses, smiling as if the thought excites him. "You know there’s no going back. This is who we are. Together.'' his eyes soften, as if he's offering a twisted form of love. "You don’t need to doubt it anymore, Y/N. It’s just you and me now. Forever."
You felt a mix of so many emotions. You felt so validated and special... Billy actually cared for you, noticed you, loved you. Him killing Sidney just proved his love for you, making you feel irreplaceable. ''I love you...'' you blurted out in a mere whisper. He looked at your eyes before tossing the knife on the ground, placing his hands on your hips and pulling you in for a deep kiss.
You kissed him back almost immediately, wrapping your arms around his neck. As the kiss deepened, you could taste the mix of adrenaline and passion on his lips. The room seemed to spin as you both gave in to the moment, the world outside fading away. Billy’s touch was electrifying, sending shivers through you. A mix of desire, obsession, and a darker undertone of danger made it feel like giving into something you've both been fighting against, yet desperately craving.
You both stopped the kiss to catch your breaths. He moved a strand of hair behind your ear, his touch as light as a feather. You were both in the moment together before you heard police sirens outside. Billy looked out the window, distressed about the red and blue lights flashing outside. He turned to you, putting his hands on your face. ''Alright listen, that car pulling up, has to be Dewey. You go put the costume on and finish them off. I'll climb out the window and meet you at the fountain okay ?'' Billy explained as he started grabbing his stuff, getting ready to leave.
You stood there, speechless. So much was happening all at once. ''Wait- What ? What do you mean ? I don't wanna kill Dewey !'' you exclaimed. Dewey was the nicest person on earth, you couldn't do that to him. His sister got killed already, wasn't that enough ? His eyes narrowed before his voice dropped. ''So... you just wanna let them catch us ? We'll be separated. And i want to stay by your side forever... So do as i say,'' he handed you the knife. ''And kill them. For me. For us.'' he said before pressing a lingering kiss on your lips, walking towards the window and jumping out. You stood there, knife in your palm and panic in your mind. You hurt enough people already. Now Dewey ? But you love Billy too much to let him down...

You stood there, frozen, your mind racing. Everything felt like it was crashing down all at once. Billy was already outside, waiting for you, the clock ticking faster with every second. You knew what he expected, what he needed you to do to prove you were really in this with him. But killing Dewey? It wasn’t supposed to come to this. You didn't wanna do this.
You swallowed hard, staring at your ghostface costume lying on the bed, the mask staring right back at you. This was it. You knew that if you backed out now, Billy would never look at you the same. This was the moment. You had to show him you were serious. That you loved him.
With shaky hands, you grabbed the costume and slipped it on, the mask feeling heavier than it ever had before. Every step you took downstairs felt like the floor might cave in beneath you, but you kept going, gripping the knife tightly in your hand. Your heart pounded in your chest, but all you could think about was Billy.
This was for him. You were doing this for him.
You hide in a closet and wait for the right moment to come. ''You can do this...'' you thought to yourself. You were so nervous for the first time, maybe you still had sympathy in your heart. You hear a few footsteps coming and prepare yourself. The footsteps inch closer towards the closet. At the right moment you jump out and stab Dewey's neck, hoping that would kill him instantly. Dewey placed his hand on his neck, trying to stop it from bleeding out. You watched the scene unfold, instantly regretting what you had done. Dewey lets out a few chokes before he takes his last breath, body going rigid. You stayed there and looked at his lifeless body. He didn't deserve this...
You snapped yourself out of it and quickly ran to a near window and climbed out before anyone could see you. You ran to the fountain where Billy wanted to meet, hoping he'd be waiting for you there. You see his distressed face, thinking you maybe had gotten caught. He notices you and quickly walks up to you. ''Did you do it ? Is he dead ?'' he asked you eagerly. You look around, making sure no one was in sight before taking of the mask, nodding at his question. ''Yeah...'' you say with obvious guilt on your face. Billy cups your face and presses a soft kiss on your lips. ''Hey... don't worry. You did the right thing. If you didn't kill him we would've been caught by now. But we're free. Together.'' he says softly, brushing a few strands of hair out your face. You relax under his touch right away, thinking about it from a postive perspective. He's right. If you got caught, you wouldn't be able to be with Billy anymore. You couldn't bear separation.
You smile at his words softly before nodding. ''Yeah. I guess you're right.'' you say before looking at the ground. ''What now ?'' you ask, thinking about what's about to happen next. Billy smiled, taking your hand. ''Let's run away together. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you.'' he said as he pressed a kiss to your knuckles. Were you dreaming ? ''Oh my God...'' you exclaimed, not taking your eyes off him. ''Let's go.'' he said as started walking, still hand-in-hand with you. This is the best and worst day of your life.
He walks you to his house, since he lived alone. You walk into Billy’s dimly lit home, the atmosphere heavy with a mix of fear, excitement and uncertainty. The house is eerily silent, as if it’s holding its breath, waiting for something to happen. Billy locks the door behind you, his movements calm and collected, while you stand in the living room, fidgeting, unsure of what comes next.
Billy leans on the wall, crossing his arms, watching you closely. He could tell you were a little on edge. ''Relax. We're safe here.'' his voice is smooth, confident, as if the events of the night didn’t affect him at all. He pushes off the wall and walks over to you. You look at him, the guilt evident in your voice and body language. ''I actually killed Dewey... he didn't deserve it. He was so sweet. I took his life away.'' you say as you take off the ghostface costume, setting it down somewhere before you take a seat on his couch. His eyes narrowed as he followed you, sitting down next to you.
Billy smirks softly before putting his hand on your thigh. "And you did it for us. That’s what matters." He scoots closer, his tone shifting to something softer, almost affectionate. "Don’t you see it now ? You’re free. Free from all those people holding you back." he added. you nod slightly, still unsure, your mind swirling with conflicting emotions. Part of you is relieved to be with Billy, but the weight of your actions lingers in the back of you mind. You look away hesitantly. "Why did it have to be him, though ?'' you say, your voice breaking slightly.
Billy grabs your chin, forcing you to look at him, his expression darkening. "Deserve ? None of them deserve anything. They were all just in the way. You need to understand that. They were part of the game. Just like Sidney." his voice is low, almost a growl, but then his grip softens, his tone changing to something gentler, more... manipulative. "But now, there’s no one left to tear us apart. You and me… we can start over. Together."
Billy wraps his arms around you, pulling you close. You can feel the warmth of his body, the intensity in his touch, and despite the chaos inside you, you find yourrself melting into his embrace. There’s a strange comfort in his possessiveness, in the way he makes you feel like the center of his world. You lay your head on his shoulder softly. "And what now ? What do we do next ?" Billy smiles, stroking your hair as if soothing a child. "Now ? We disappear. We leave Woodsboro behind and go somewhere no one can find us. Just you and me. Doesn’t that sound perfect ?" he said.
There’s a pause, the idea of running away together sounding both thrilling and terrifying. You know what they’ve done can’t be undone, and there’s no turning back. But there’s still a nagging doubt, a hint of hesitation. "And what about... everything we’ve done ? What if they find us ?" you ask him. Billy pulls back slightly, looking down at you with that same smirk. "They won’t. We’ll be ghosts. And even if they do... we’ve come this far, haven’t we ? You trust me, don’t you ?"
His gaze locks onto yours, challenging you, daring you to question him. You hesitates but then nods, feeling the intensity of his control over her. Your trapped, but willingly so, tangled in your obsession with him. "I do. I trust you."
Billy leans in, pressing a slow, possessive kiss to your lips. It’s not just affection—it’s a claim, a reminder that he owns you now.

Living with Billy felt like a dream at first. The two of you, no more hiding, no more masks—just you and him. It was everything you’d always wanted. Billy as your boyfriend was something you never thought would happen, not like this. The thrill of being with him, knowing you were the one he chose, made it all worth it.
But lately… something was off.
At first, it was little things. He’d stay out late without saying where he was going, or he’d brush you off when you asked about it. Then he started getting quieter, not the same smirking, charming Billy you knew. You couldn’t shake the feeling that he was pulling away. Like he was already tired of the life you’d built together.
You tried to ignore it, but every time you looked at him, there was this distance that wasn’t there before. And the worst part? You didn’t know why.
01:34 AM: Billy's house:
You are sitting on Billy’s couch, the dim light of the living room casting shadows on the walls. You have been waiting for him all night, your thoughts racing with doubt and anxiety. The clock on the wall ticks loudly in the silence. It’s well past midnight when the door finally creaks open, and Billy walks in, looking casual but distant. You stood up as soon as he entered, your heart pounding. "Where were you ? I’ve been waiting for hours… again." You said, with a hint of neglect and sadness in your eyes. You HAD to ask him what was going on, you were already suspicious of him.
"Had some things to take care of. Why ? Got a problem with that ?" Billy answered, barely looking up as he tosses his jacket onto a chair, his tone indifferent. You feel your chest tighten. This isn’t the same Billy who used to hang on your every word. There’s a coldness now, like you've become an afterthought. ''You've been doing this every night. Ignoring me. Avoiding me. What's going on ?'' You ask with a shaky voice, trying to keep it together. You were genuinely hurt. What if this was a mistake ?
Billy looked at you and sighed, stepping closer to you. ''C'mere babe.'' he said, opening his arms. You wanted to refuse, but you couldn't. You stepped in his arms and engulfed him in a hug. ''I miss the way things used to be. I miss us.'' you said, tearing up. You were overthinking the entire thing. What if you never agreed to start the killings with him ? What if you never ran away with him ? What if you never fell in love ?
''Don't cry. I'm still here...'' he said before suddenly pulling you tighter towards him, a little too tight. ''I'm the reason you have somewhere to stay. Don't forget that.'' he whispered coldly before letting go of you, walking upstairs. You look at him with shock and hurt, tears flowing down your cheeks. You decide to brush it off by assuming he was in a bad mood, even though this wasn't the first time.
Later on, you were in Billy's kitchen. His earlier coldness was still lingering in your mind. You couldn't sleep after he said what he said. You were starting to second guess the choice of being with him. Billy, having noticed your lingering frustration, decides it's time to charm his way back into your good graces. He approaches you with a gentle, almost too-sweet smile, his tone soft and sorry.
''Hey,'' he said as he wrapped his arms around your waist from behind, giving you a soft peck on your cheek. ''I'm sorry about earlier, I'm going through alot right now.'' he murmured. You sigh, not quite believing him anymore. He noticed your hesitation and sighed. ''C'mon, i said i was sorry. You could atleast forgive me.'' He looks into your eyes, his gaze tender, filled with a fake sincerity that almost makes you forget the earlier neglect.
"You’re the most important person in my life, we’re so close to having the life we’ve always dreamed of. But there’s one last thing we need to do, and I need your help..." he said. Your heart skips a beat at the mention of a new task. You're wary but hopeful that this will be the moment they can finally leave Woodsboro behind and start over.
Billy looks at you before gently squeezing your hand. "Look, I need you to trust me. This is the final step." he said before moving closer, brushing a stray lock of hair behind your ear with a feather-light touch. His voice is a soft murmur, almost hypnotic. ''I need you to kill Gale.''
You freeze. Kill... Gale...? You slowly turn to him with a shocked look on your face, shaking your head. ''Billy... you promised. You promised me we wouldn't hurt any more people ! We already did enough !'' you exclaimed. You did not want to go back to your old ways, his old ways. You were good with what was going on now. Billy's eyes darkened before stepping closer. ''I'm just saying; you kill Gale, take her money, we leave Woodsboro. You won't get caught.'' he murmured. ''Do it for me. For us. I love you.''
You couldn't help but feel a rush of warmth inside you. He barely ever told you that he loved you. But he did. Your eyes softened before thinking about it. If you killed Gale and took her money, you and Billy would have enough money to buy another house. But killing Gale would just be so cruel. Billy waited for your answer, staring into your eyes. ''Can't you figure out another way to earn money ?'' you asked him quietly. ''No. I can't apply for a job that would be inconvenient... please.'' Billy pleaded softly, also with a hint of impatience in his voice. You sighed and looked at the ground, considering this decision. What's next ?

What do you think of Stu x Sid as a couple?
i've never heard of that ship before, it's interesting. but i didn't really see any chemistry between them in the movie tho. and imo, stu doesn't seem like sidney's type 😭. but for a fanfic, it could be pretty cool !

You thought it was over. After you and Billy moved in together, you really believed the killing was behind you, that you could finally just be together without all the blood and chaos. But you should've known better. Billy always had a way of pulling you back in, no matter how much you wanted out.
When he asked you to do it again, you felt your stomach drop. You dreaded it. Every part of you screamed that this wasn't what you signed up for—this wasn't the life you imagined when you ran away with him. But then he looked at you, that look that always made you weak, and you realized you'd never be able to say no. You still loved him, no matter what.
So here you were. Scared, but ready. You'd do anything for him. As always.
Your hands were trembling as you stood in front of the mirror, staring at your reflection. You already hurt too many people, already crossed too many lines. The thought of doing it again, of killing Gale, stealing money... You took deep breaths, trying to steady yourself.
Billy came into the room, his face calm, completely unfazed. He was just focused on the plan. "You ready ?" he asked, barely looking at you, focused more on the task of killing Gale and getting the money than on you. You shook your head, your voice merely a whisper. "No…" you sniffled. He turned to you with a frown on his face, stepping closer. "Hey," he said softly, his tone shifting. "You've done this before. You're fine. We've come far. We can't stop now." he said. "This is it, okay ? You finish this, and you're done. No more running, no more hiding. Just us."
You bit your lip, tearing up. You didn't wanna do this again, you didn't want to be that person anymore. But when Billy looked at you like that, all soft and content, it made it harder to say no. "You love me, right ?" he asked in a whisper, his eyes gazing into yours. You nodded, unable to say anything, your heart beating faster and faster every second. "Then trust me." he said, pressing a kiss to your cheek. "We've got this. Just one more time."
His words got to you again. Your heart was pounding as you got ready to go outside, the fear evident in your body language. But no matter how scared you were, you couldn’t back out now. You loved him. You'd always do whatever it took to prove it.
After he had reassured you that everything was going to be okay, you were ready to go out and do the job. ''It's gonna be okay, it's gonna be over soon.'' you told yourself before grabbing your bag and put your mask, knife and costume in it. ''Remember, bring the money to me after you took it, okay ?'' Billy told you, leaning on a wall. You looked at him before nodding. ''I will... I love you.'' you told him, just in case. The end of his lips curved upwards as he looked at you. ''Love you too. Be safe.'' he said.
You stepped outside and started walking towards Gale's home. You already knew where she lived. Unfortunately this time, you wish you didn't. You took a deep breath, trying to steady yourself, but your heart wouldn’t stop racing. This was it. You didn’t have a choice anymore. You reached over, grabbing the mask and slipping it over your face, the familiar cold feeling settling in as the fabric clung to your skin. It was suffocating. But this was who you had to be tonight. Just for him.
You snuck past the gate, walking to the back of her house. You quietly took out a hairpin and picked the lock before the backdoor opened with a small creak. You knew didn't know if Gale was home or not, but you knew that she was very alert. So you quietly tiptoed inside her house making sure she didn't hear you. Then, you pulled the knife out, your hand trembling as you gripped it tight, hiding in the kitchen closet. You waited and waited until you heard some motion.
You hear a few footsteps coming downstairs, bracing yourself for what's about to happen next. As you hear the footsteps stop right infront of you, the closet door opens and it reveals Gale. You quickly act and stab her stomach before she could react. She yelped in pain as she put her hand on the place she got stabbed. You stabbed her chest continuously until she went completely limp and eventually, dead. You panted as you watched her take her last breath. You quickly snapped out of it and look around for any trace of cash or money. You run upstairs, desperate to find the money.
You eventually find her bedroom and went in. you yanked open the closet doors, digging through shoes, boxes, anything that could hide what you were looking for. And then you saw it, a small lockbox shoved into the corner. You grabbed it, fumbling with the lock, cursing under your breath when it didn't open right away. You weren't thinking straight, hands trembling as you tried to focus. Finally, the lock clicked open, and there it was—the money. Stacks of cash, just sitting there like it was waiting for you.
You quickly grabbed all the stacks of cash and put them in your backpack, wanting to leave this place as quick as you could. You finished taking the money and ran downstairs towards the back door, but... it was locked ? You pulled on the door handle, trying to open the door but it wouldn't budge. You hear a few footsteps behind you. You slowly turn around to see Billy, standing in the middle of the living room, knife in hand. You didn't even hear him come in. ''Wow. You really did it. Not that it was unexpected...'' he said with the sly smirk that always lured you into his tricks. You take off the mask before showing the frown you had on your face. What was he doing here ? ''Billy... w-what are you doing here ?'' you asked with confusion. Billy took a few slow steps towards you, toying with the knife in his hand.
''Oh... just came to check on you babe. Good job.'' he said with a nod, looking back at Gale's lifeless body on the floor. You backed up till your back hit the wall, intimidated by his body language. ''You were always so good to me. And i appreciate that. Honestly, without you, i wouldn't be where i am right now. You helped me.'' he said, his eyes narrowing as he got closer, now inches away from you. Your breath hitched, barely containing eye contact. You were just so confused... ''But... I'm afraid all good things come to an end.'' he said before you felt a sharp pain in your abdomen. You look down to see some blood dripping down the floor. You didn't realize what he did until Billy smirked at you, hand hovering over your cheek. A tear rolled down your cheek. You felt betrayal, pain, anger, sadness all in one. You couldn't believe it. All this time, you were just bait. All the ''I love you's'' he said to you, were all fake. All of it was fake.
''Hey... it's okay.'' he said softly, removing the knife from your stomach. You let out a whimper, holding onto his shoulder, trying to look for any sympathy in his eyes. But there was none. ''The police are on their way. If you're lucky enough, maybe you've already stopped breathing before they found you...'' he said, smirking softly. He then stabbed you twice more, no remorse in his actions at all. You let out a sob as you slowly felt your heartbeat slow down. ''Why...?'' you managed to choke out. Billy looked at you and tilted his head softly. ''This isn't a fairytale. Like i told you, I don't believe in love.'' he said coldly before you dropped to the floor, holding your stomach as you coughed up some blood, seeing your life flash before your eyes. Billy took the backpack full of money, looking at you one last time. ''Thank you for everything.'' he said before leaving the house, leaving you for dead.
The last thing you saw before your vision went black were the police sirens, the loud siren echoing in your ears. The thing that disgusted you the most is, no matter what he did, no matter how cruel he was;
You'd always love him.
The End.
