Transfem Roy edits. She just grew out her hair rn and learning how to use mascara from Carmen.
I love Roy for a lot of reasons but one of the biggest reasons is cuz finally Roy is a ginger I don't want to smack with a bat in Media.
As a ginger my entire life is just like there's a redhead and there they are being an absolute villain and being a bitch. Which TBH Roy also falls into but he also has somewhat of a character arc some sprinkled in story to his background and he's getting better he's being nicer he's growing. Not to mention that I kind of relate to him. And his problems.
Got this fan comic idea in my head and before someone comes after me yes I know I have a whole bunch of projects I'm working on I'm only human I'll do everything on my own pace cuz all hobby and while I appreciate people reading and enjoying my story I am not going to let someone bully me into writing a chapter a day. If I write three chapters in one day or if I don't write a chapter in a couple of months that's my own business.
No, I am not using a character from a property I already like to vent my own past trauma. What do you think I am stupid? You think I would make an entire comic about a character that shares similar childhood trauma to me? That's funny. Oh, and now you're saying that I'm just exposing myself on Tumblr by saying it in a very common and ironic way? Shut up shut your bitch ass up. I know where you live, Becky.
Got done with the cover of my fan comic though I don't have a name yet also huge content warning about sensitive topics and implied SA.
Plus, without being arrogant, I have to say I'm really proud of the bruising I went through a couple of examples put together a color palette and for my first time drawing bruises comes out looking pretty passible not the best but pretty okay.
Plus, I very much appreciate it with ideas about what I should name it. I almost considered naming it "mission: candy store" but I felt like a is too funny for the theme of the story and be it was sort of insensitive. Because despite me being a victim and me thinking it's funny not everyone's going to think it's cool.
OMFG I'm drawing the first page of my comic and I can't I'm dying. I was looking at some of the expressions that sr Pelo does because his art style is very exaggerated and I was specifically looking at the Pelones and I love it oh my God I love that I did this face Justice.
I just realized halfway through the comic that I don't know what to do for the skin tones. On one hand I can use my previous art to color some of the characters plus it adds more diversity to the comic but the problem with that is that they're just headcannon and there's no like legitimate race for each character other than some like a little details you could take out but also on the other hand I don't want to use them actual White skin tone like in the show because I think it looks a little bland and I don't know how I would blush and Shadow the character without it looking either very blue or muddy.
So this comic was so fun to draw and I'm really excited to make it. However, I realized real quick that the process of making comics is long so I hope yall can understand if it takes long to upload. I could cut back on the detail, like keeping the line art black, but I want to put my best foot forward. So please enjoy this sneak peek at part one of my SM comic.
