Some of my favorite screenshots from The Snug-a-lug episode of Trollstopia. Laguna and Branch team up with Gust and Val to watch over Lownote Jones’ exotic pet, the snug-a-lug. A critter that can literally kill through kindness. It reproduces asexually by hugging!
Short bit of a story
You might be a trigger in here so proceed at your own risk
Gust stood on the doorstep with a shit-eating grin spread wide across his face. He tilted his hat revealing his eyes which almost seemed to glow. “Wouldn’t you say hello to your old man?”. Gust looked down upon Woods and Lexxie standing inside the inn right in front of him.
He walked into the inn like it was his to ruin, Gust walked into the lives of others just to ruin them too. He didn’t seem to mind that Woods was glaring daggers at him and the look of fear in Lexxie’s eyes. Gust had closed the door behind himself with a creak. Woods and Lexxie were trapped.
Suddenly, Woods grasped Gust by the neck and slammed him against the locked door. “Get out” Woods sneered at Gust while tightening his grip around his neck.

I think both Gust and myself are overfeeding Q.Q. Like him was already pretty round, but I'm definitely part of the problem... 😅

Phei has returned from her dangerous stunt to visit the mysterious island. After confronting her elders with the news that the surface world is in grave danger, they dismissed it, saying it was nonsense. Now she turns to her childhood friend, who has always clinged to reason …

The moment she leaves the council chamber the doors close shut behind her and a soft storm or murmurs can be heard from behind it. Hazel eyes turn towards the keyhole, a place to listen, but [angry noises]. She opens the door to the balcony and jumps off. She can hear the gust singing in her ear as she plummets down. Blue feathers gasp as they are forced into action metres above the floor. Phei uses the momentum to soar upwards until she reaches a comfortable height at which she can glide over towards the town without requiring any attention to search for currents.

Ooh mysterious! I love how you describe the goat before she knows what it is. I'd imagine it's a hard balance to strike when listing it's basic elements without giving it away. And drawing attention to the fact that the King doesn't show his feet is super cool too
A Gust of Rising Wind | The Raven King
Phei has landed on the Surface, making her way through forests and hills looking for someone to show her the way. But the fields are big and empty. Only after days of walking does she stumble upon a small town, the buildings empty, the windows blocked by rotten planks. But she must go on.

Walking has become harder too. The ground that had been so soft and lush before is now bare, dried up cracks instead of grasses decorate the top, Phei’s talons unable to dig into the earth. With the city within earshot she ensures that the sleeves of her coat are covering her feathers and her cloak hides her talons. Satisfied with her disguise, she presses on.
