It's so easy not to police labels.

For example, I would typically consider anyone that doesn't identify with their AGAB, partially or fully, transgender. However, there are non-binary people who don't classify themselves as trans (among others of different identities). What do I do? I respect them. That's it.

Exclusionism is so terminally online. I've gone to one queer space for a few months now (meaning I haven't had any issues and have found community in the very first place in which I decide to seek it), and do you know what kind of people I've met? People who accept xenogenders! People who accept ALL forms of transition! People who don't throw a fit over somebody being a gaybian or what have you!

This pride month I want to remind everyone to not worry about being 'valid' but rather being yourself. I want to remind those in unsafe situations to continue to exist, even if they cannot be themselves. I want to remind everyone that their own identity is just as legitimate as the more 'accepted' and/or mainstream identities.
