So, another Encanto post. We all know the Bruno dad AU, right? (I haven’t seen the movie yet, so pls correct me if I’m wrong) Based on what I’ve read here, Bruno disappeared at Mirabels gift ceremony. Now, imagine this: A little 5 year old Mirabel, already sad because she doesn’t have a gift, now wandering around the big house searching for her dad. She gets even more sad and starts crying. Julieta comes to her and shushes her to sleep…

I had a disturbing but hilarious idea that Zoey once accidentally scared the shit out of the Madrigal kids by taking her prosthetic arm off in order to let her nub air out and when she turns around with a plate full of Julieta’s arepas, she sees the horrified eyes of the kids as they think,

“It just— It just came off???”

Madrigals and their League of Legends Mains

Mirabel: Wild Card but I can see her be support or mid main. As for champions, Lulu’s her go-to, for backups, Taliyah, Rakan, Seraphine (fite me), and Lux

Julieta: Soraka/Sona/Senna full AP support. Do not convince me she wouldn’t do that; “I’m a healer, but…”

Agustin: Bronze Yasuo main. Has no idea what he’s doing but he’s doing his best

Isabela: Zyra/Morgana/Janna/Qiyana OTP

Luisa: Girl loves her tanks, but tell me she wouldn’t be the best Braum OTP in existence. Because she is!

Pepa: Janna supp and will not take off the Forecast Janna skin. Also turns out she ended up being fantastic with Leona and Xayah. Oh and she will roast the shit out of you if you fuck up

Felix: Also a Leo main but I can also see him really liking Rakan (also not for… other reasons /sar 👀)

Antonio: Yasuo main but can actually beat the shit out of you. Also Rengar because kitty

A Miracle at Monster High (A Monster Mirabel Story Idea)

Here's another Encanto crossover idea for anyone to consider, it goes a little something like this.

Mirabel, seeing her magical family take a picture without her only confirms that she has no place in the Amazing Madrigals perfect image. So, she does what she thinks is best, packs her things and leaves while everyone else is celebrating in Antonio's new room (failing to see the cracks along casita). Mirabel, finally reaching the mountains that protect Encanto is suddenly attacked, and bitten, by a wild jaguar. the Miracle sensing Mirabel in danger makes a last-ditch effort to save her, and magically teleports her out of Encanto. Mirabel then wakes up in front of a massive, and somewhat creepy looking building. she also notices she looks completely different. she has fuzzy cat-like ears, a tail and is covered in spotted fur, like a jaguar. She is then approached by Miss Bloodgood who explains to her that she is in Monster High, a school for all sorts of monsters. She offers Mirabel a place to stay in one of the new dorms and allows her to enroll in Monster High, which she happily accepts. Mirabel then proceeds to make friends with Frankie and the ghoul squad while learning to embrace her new life as a monster. Meanwhile in Encanto things start to go downhill. Turns out saving Mirabel caused the magic to weaken and the madrigals are falling apart trying to find Mirabel. As Alma tries to make everyone forget about Mirabel and get back to their duties to the community (kind of like what they did with Bruno) Bruno suddenly appears, finally having had enough of Alma's treatment of everyone. In a burst of courage and anger he calls out Alma for running the family into the ground with her ridiculous expectations and how he hid in the walls of casita for ten years thinking the family would be better without him but then finding out it didn't. He then says how he had one more vision after Mirabel left and found out that she will have a better life away from the people she once called family and that they only have themselves to blame (leaving out the part that she became a literal monster). That outburst from Bruno causes Casita to collapse and the miracle to break, leaving the madrigals to pick up the pieces of their broken family. Will Mirabel ever see her family again? Will the magic ever return to the Madrigals? Will the Madrigals ever accept Mirabel's new form? What will the ghoul squad think of all this? Guess we will have to wait for someone to write this story and find out.

Monster High is about embracing what makes us different and celebrating our "Freaky Flaws" as they say. And I think Mirabel is the perfect example of this, being the only one born without magic in a magical family. Plus, whenever I hear the Monster High song "Search Inside by Catty Noir" I immediately think of Mirabel.

What IF... Mirabel joined the crew of the Cerritos

Here are some Crossover Ideas with the movie Encanto and the animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks

1.) Mirabel, feeling despondent because of Antonio's gift ceremony being a success, (don't get me wrong she is still happy for him but is sad because she thinks he will eventually abandon her like the rest of her family.) decides to take an evening walk through the empty village. Suddenly she is captured by Orion Pirates and taken off world, probably to be sold as a slave or something. After a few days in captivity, she is rescued by the crew of the Cerritos and that is how she also learns about Star Fleet. With some convincing from Mirabel, and the anomalous situation of Mirabel not existing in any records on Earth, Captain Freeman decides to let Mirabel join the Cerritos as an ensign under the mentorship of Dvana Tendi. Mirabel would then go on to make friends with the rest of the Cerritos crew (mainly Beckett Mariner, Brad Boimler, Rutherford and so on) and go on amazing space adventures while learning to be herself. As a Plot twist I thought maybe Mirabel would be forced to return to earth to help with an unusual anomaly appearing in Columbia. The anomaly in question is a giant Golden dome that appeared in a region of Columbia that was said not be on any map. It turns out when Alma was given the Miracle created by Pedro's sacrificed it also encased the entire Encanto in a Time Bubble. so instead of the Encanto village being fifty years old, like the movie said, several centuries have passed. And when the Miracle broke, because Mirabel wasn't there to save the family, the time bubble also faded exposing Encanto to the new future age. So now a reluctant Mirabel is tasked with trying to integrate the citizens of Encanto into the new age while trying to avoid her family who haven't seen her in over a year.

2.) A few weeks after Mirabel's failed gift ceremony the Madrigals have all but abandoned her. A depressed Mirabel takes a walk in the jungle and gets abducted by Orion Pirates. She is then taken to Orion to be auctioned off as a slave but is then adopted by D'vana Tendi's parents as her and her sister's playmate. As time goes on the Tendi's grow to accept Mirabel as part of the family and train her in the ways of Orion Pirates. When D'vana tells her sisters she wants to join Star Fleet Mirabel decides to go with her. They both join and get assigned to the Cerritos as Ensigns.

Mirabel's Playtime

A crossover idea featuring Mirabel and the horror game Poppy Playtime.

This story idea is somewhat similar to another story I've read but, with a few differences.

At the age of around seven Mirabel is all but sick of her family's treatment towards her. So, she does what any rational seven-year-old does in this situation, Run Away from home. It isn't easy but she makes it over the mountains and somehow manages to stow away on a ship heading for America. By the time she makes it to the country she is found and placed in Playtime Co.'s Orphanage program. During her time there she manages to make friends with all the sentient toys that reside in the factory (Mommy long legs, huggy wuggy, cat-bee, kissy missy, candy-cat, Bunzo, Poppy, etc.) But then Mirabel is taken by the Playtime co scientist and is transformed into a toy with no memory of who she was. (As for her toy form, I'm thinking maybe a sort of Fairy princess type doll with working butterfly wings.) then the disaster that causes the factory to shut down and be abandoned happens leaving Mirabel (who now goes by Mariposa) and the other toys trapped in with her. But even as a toy Mirabel tries to help the other and they become sort of a makeshift family. after a few years of living together a glowing door suddenly appears in the factory confusing the playtime toys. when mariposa tries to open the door, it leads to an unusual (and somewhat familiar house) then mariposa meets a gifted by lonely Antonio. How will Antonio react with meeting Mariposa and the playtime toys? how will the Madrigals react to the unknown door? and will Mariposa remember who she was before Playtime Co? I don't really know these are all just story ideas.

What IF... Mirabel was Psychic?

(An Encanto x Psychonauts Story Idea)

Ok so I discovered this crossover in the early 2022 on archiveofourown.org and immediately fell in love with it. It is a crossover between the Disney movie Encanto and the video game Psychonauts (both the first one and its sequel Psychonauts 2). Basically, Mirabel runs away from Encanto a year or two after her failed gift ceremony and eventually discovers she has Psychic abilities. She then attends Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp to learn how to control her new gift and eventually becomes an Intern at the Motherlobe (Psychonaut headquarters) where she then ends up helping Razputin during the events of Psychonauts 2. I for one not only loved this story but also the crossover idea behind it. An idea like this should be explored more so I'm posting this for all you aspiring writers out there to try. How would you write a "Psychic Mirabel" story? It would be kinda interesting to see how the Madrigals would react to it and to find out they're not the only "Gifted" People out there. Mirabel's Two-Minute Notice

This is what I like to call an "Encanto Song Parody Challenge"

Ok, so I'm not really a fan of Madrigal Family Bashing. But I discovered this song one day and immediately thought, this would be perfect as an Encanto Song. the song is called "Two-Minute Notice" from the indie YouTube series Helluva Boss on Vivziepop. If you want to listen to it see the link below to watch the official video. Fair warning there is a lot of swearing and some sexual themes in the song, but other than that it is awesome. So, my challenge goes like this.

-Mirabel being sick and tired of how her so called family (minus Antonio) has been treating her over the years, decides to leave Encanto and never look back. But before she does that, she decides to say goodbye for good while also telling off the Madrigals (mostly Alma) for how terribly they've treated her over the years-

Mirabel in the Spiderverse (Encanto x Spiderverse Story Idea)

Let's do this one more time.

Her name is Mirabel Madrigal. She lived in a village cut off from the rest of the world. She lives in a big magic house, with her big magical family, protected by a magic candle. However, Mirabel herself isn't magical. She spent most of her life trying to prove herself to her family and the village, only to be ignored or pushed aside by everyone, even her family. But then one day Mirabel gets bitten by an unusual spider and everything changes. She feels stronger, is able to stick to any surface, and gets this unusual feeling in the back of her mind whenever danger is near. She wanted a gift to be like her family, but now she's scared that they'll treat her worse than when she didn't have a gift. And if things weren't weird enough, she meets some unusual teenagers with strange costumes coming out of a portal. So now she's exploring the Multiverse and learning about her new abilities with her new Spider friends, all while hiding them from her family. What could possibly go wrong?

I know this type of crossover has been done a few times before, But I want to see other writers try to make their own spin on an Encanto x Spiderverse crossover. Can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Story Idea: What IF... Mirabel went to the Undercity (Encanto x Arcane: League of Legends crossover)

Hey there, it's been a while since my last post. in honor of the upcoming season 2 of Arcane I bring you another story idea that is free for anyone to try. It is a crossover of Arcane and the Disney movie Encanto. It is basically Mirabel Madrigal going to live in the Undercity of Zaun. Either by running away from Encanto or being kidnapped. Now I think it would be interesting if Mirabel ended up getting along with Jinx. Maybe even going as far as becoming surrogate sisters. Mostly because both were considered outcasts in their respective families. Another idea I have is what if Mirabel ends up in Zaun at a young age and is adopted by Silco before he adopts Powder (jinx) then she becomes like a big sister to Jinx after Vi abandons her. Also, while living in the Undercity Mirabel learns why the Miracle candle didn't grant her a gift because she's actually a mage. She didn't need a magical gift because she was born with magic. So how would you make an Arcane x Encanto crossover?

Story Idea: Encanto x Mad Max: Fury Road

Another story idea featuring Mirabel Madrigal from Encanto. And as always, this idea is free for anyone to use. It goes like this.

After Mirabel's failed gift ceremony Alma decides to use the Miracle to banish her from the Encanto. In doing so Mirabel ends up in a place called the Wasteland. Mirabel is then captured by WarBoys and taken to the citadel. She is then brought to Immortan Joe who decides to adopt her as his daughter.
