Summary: Castiel Novak’s son, Jack, is battling with a leukemia diagnosis and the only chance he has of recovering isn’t covered by insurance and Castiel is out of options to save him. With all hope lost he reaches out to the Make A Wish foundation to fulfill his son’s wish of meeting his favorite actor, Dean Winchester, who plays Batman. Then, an anonymous donation for Jack to be placed into the clinical trial to cure his leukemia is made and he ends up pulling through. Castiel will forever be indebted to this kind stranger who gave him the gift of his son back, even if he might never be able to discover who it is.

Artist’s note:Here’s my first collab for the @dadstielminibang. I got to create art for Avonlady's lovely fic, and had a great time working with her. When I saw the claims info for her fic, I couldn't resist to draw Batman. My main piece is Cas watching Dean on the tv while he falls asleep on the couch. Sadly, my schedule was too busy these last weeks that I didn't get to draw the subsequent dream sequence. The banner is mixed media (coloured pencil, pencil, charcoal, and a oil pastels for the balloon), the main piece is pencil.
