im still kind of somewhat of a new-ish player. ive gone through a lot of the story (including events i havent gone through in-game) but ive only actually started playing a few months ago
three months ago actually cause i made a post when i started the prologue being amazed at how good it was lMFAO and then i made a post when i got to riddles overblot (2 diff posts, 1 is the duel, other overblot + aftermath) cause hes my favorite
and i remember the event when i started playing was a culinary crucible event (i think i recall cater birthday bash tho)
and i cant explain to you how confused i was on what i was supposed to do while also trying to focus on the main story (there was just a lot to do, like realizing theres a difference in what history and flight lessons do LMFAO). and at one point i gave up trying to do the event (i have the two apprentice chef cards from that event though. that was before i knew it didnt save over banners and that i should be more careful with when i pull LMFAO)

so i never finished it. which hurts me as a person who would like to be a completionist in everything that is possible to me (..im not doing the minigames on hard though holy fuck)
so then there was this culinary crucible. and. i saw the huge number meant to be achieved and its just. how do i get to that? and staring at the end date, being like, thats not enough time
but im wrong. figured out what to do. managed. so YEAHHH. its. not actually that difficult i was just stressed by what seemed like a huge end goal.
so yeee. i have no clue if its possible to max out all the dishes on 100% before the event ends so i probably wont get to it but its just. nice to wait for it in the background instead of doing it all at once. (i dont know about yall but i always set excursions to like 360 minutes or 6 hours)
i havent actually gone about to using the little things that shorten the time by i think it was 30 minutes? because i set it to so long so there didnt seem to be that big of a difference to me so i never bothered so uh. maybe theres a more efficient method but the only method i know of is the one where you use low ingredients until you get to a certain percentage and then move up in quality as you do so (i panicked and searched on what ppls advice for the event was admittedly cause i didnt wanna take too long)
anyway just felt like sharing my thoughts so yee

i have something to share too WHAT i was waiting to get high quality ingredients to max like the rating at 30 for each so i go to the guest room and see who i have right here... i am shocked 😭

(anyone relying on this is prob at a disadvantage because of a late start but HERE's the recipes for Culinary Crucible: Confection Perfection)

(If this list looks familiar it's literally my comment on the video lOl) Credits to this person's video which contained the recipes before the event started (it showed what the name probably was and then the icons of the ingredients because they weren't sure what name it'd be upon localization) which I relied on and waited until I could make everything and verify that yes these are the recipes (This seems kinda mean but people make errors, even the wiki people make errors so like fact check everything).
Anyway the video goes on to talk about how to do the event in the first place (for newcomers) which is helpful and I wish I stumbled on a video like this when I first started the game, because the first event I was there for was a culinary crucible and I was so confused like what who are these people what am i doing?????😭 (It was Pepper Pandemonium. I got Ace and Idia's apprentice chef cards but I never even unlocked the second part of the story. I started around Cater's birthday bash though and I'm sad that I missed the second anniversary by a few days even if I wouldn't have known who anyone was 💀)
*Also I think the recipes are on the wiki so I mean you don't really need this post but also I don't think everyone uses the wiki? So if you happen to use tumblr and play Twisted Wonderland and are also planning to do the Culinary Crucible event but struggling on recipes. uh. here lol

Seriously, even if it's a perfect dish with the best ingredients, they refuse to eat it!
I know Vil is super picky and won't eat anything seasoned, and Jamil has been cooking his whole life. But hey, if Jade is willing to eat it and rate at least a three, I think they could give it at least a tiny nibble!
