🌹 Years Of Love: F/O Anniversary Celebration Ideas & Imagines!
First of all, if this is your first time thinking about an anniversary with you/your self-insert and your fictional other, and you realize you don't have a set date, go ahead and set one now! It could be anything - a special date to you guys, the first time you met, the debut date of your F/O, the day you first posted about having feelings for them, a canon important date from their source material...

With your special day chosen, let's first go into the...
Celebration Ideas:
Spending your anniversary day watching/reading/listening to/playing or just in general revisiting your F/O's source material! You could only consume the scenes/events where they appear, or you could revisit the whole piece of media - as long as you're having fun. You could use the revisit to take lots of screenshots or analyze their scenes! Appreciate and gush about things you didn't notice before, maybe?
Drawing/writing/editing (videos/mood boards/aesthetics)/creating content of you/your S/I and your F/O celebrating your anniversary together! What about an anniversary date? Maybe you guys are just spending a casual day together if you normally have a very busy life? Are you dressed in a certain way? Maybe you're at a special place together?
Doing something that you and your F/O would do together in real life, and maybe even imagining them doing it with you - you could take them with you using a phone/laptop etc.! You could go visit your favorite places in town that you'd love to show them, or do hobbies that you guys would do together - gardening? Sewing? Drawing? Dancing? You could watch a movie or a TV show that your F/O would love to watch with you! (Content warning: Food mention ahead! skip to the next bullet point if you don't want to see that! Highlight/select or copy text to read better!) Going to your favorite restaurant? Baking a cake at home? Maybe ordering something online? What about food that your F/O likes? Could you make or order that? Maybe have it for the first time if you haven't tried it already? If your F/O is good at cooking, why not order something they usually make, and imagine they made it for you?
Decorating some place in your house in celebration! Balloons, cut outs or printouts of your F/O and maybe even your S/I? Ship art of you two together? Confetti! Fairy lights! Decorating with items that your F/O likes or is associated with?
Monetarily contributing to your F/O's source material! Is their game on sale? Maybe you could order a DVD of their movie? What about buying the OST from their TV show? Buying a different edition of the book they're from? Getting the audiobook maybe? You could even buy official merch or fan merch! Treat yourself to a figurine or a poster? A plushie? Pin badges?
Making a playlist and enjoying the music! The playlist could be about your F/O and you/your S/I, your F/Os canon story, some sort of AU, or maybe just generally loving/romantic/wonderful songs that remind you of them! You could try dancing to the songs, or singing along! Maybe playing an instrument along if you're into that instead? Or even playing songs that remind you of them in a music-based video game like Audiosurf, Osu! or Crypt of the Necrodancer? Let the music take over!
Treating yourself, partaking in self-care, maybe wearing something that makes you happy or taking care of housework that has stacked up - generally improving your own health and living conditions - for your F/O! They would want you to be happy, stress-free, healthy and safe! So they can celebrate with you without any worries! You could go to a spa, maybe get a manicure! How about going on a run? Making your bed anew and getting fluffy pillows and plushies and having the best sleep of your life? Do whatever you consider self-care!

Imagine your F/O waking you up early in the day with a surprise gift, followed by lots of hugs, cuddles and kisses while they congratulate you on your anniversary

Is your F/O immortal, or just in general has lived for many years? If so, how do they see anniversaries? Maybe they've been through so many in their lives that they've lost meaning at this point, but that changes with you! You can give them new meaning, celebrating your anniversary together, and they begin to appreciate this special date and look forward to it every year from now on!
If your F/O is originally from a different world, imagine going to their world for a while to celebrate your anniversary together! Meeting people of their kind/species, seeing what's a part of their culture! Inversely, they could visit your world if they haven't done that before, and enjoy seeing your surroundings instead
