I SWEAR this is my last post about the topic but it upsets me how this fandom always assumes cc!wilbur is malicious. with what thinking he's controlling with the lore and that he's being mean to tommy and the whole tiktok thing and accusing him of being a liar and now he cant even write angst about his oc without everyone going at his throat.it's just upsetting because wilbur is genuinely one of the nicest ccs and the fact that he can't even breath without everyone assuming the worst of him.this mistreatment of cc!wilbur has to stop

im gonna start biting people if i keep trying to write a post about ableism and wilbur's characters dont even get me started. i dont think people get to call cc!wilbur ableist for how he writes ghostbur's limbo when i've had to see constant fan portrayals of manipulative, "abusive" "vilbur" for literally over a year now, and then infantilization of sweet, baby ghostbur. no wonder cc!wilbur is using ghostbur as his personal punching bag, i probably would too if i had to watch thousands of fans interpret my characters this way.

Sometimes it astonishes me that 41,000 people tune in to watch a man pretend to be a chair, proceed to tell said audience that santa isn't real, discover camera settings with the glee of Cat in that one Victorious episode, and then tell deeply personal stories about his childhood. And then 400,000 more people rewatch the vod. 

Myself included, obviously.
