Actually I'm insane about how when Stede is trying to get Ed to wake up in s2e3 he starts hitting his chest like that. Ed's obviously badly hurt and Stede usually touches him with so much gentleness, but he's so desperate he's just slamming on Ed's chest. He wants him to wake up so badly he can't be gentle anymore because he needs Ed to know he's there.

And I'm supposed to just go on about my life as normal thinking about this. Fuck.
