Today it just rained, rained, rained. 

And Isak technically had to do this group project and Even technically had to work on a video for one of his classes but the thing was… it was just too cozy.

They started the day off with a sleepy breakfast in front of the TV, cuddled up under their duvet. Isak opened the windows so they could hear the calming sounds of the raindrops hitting the leaves, the pavement and the occasional slosh when a car drove by. 

Both in silent agreement that this day was perfect for soft spoken words, lazy make out sessions and for just existing together.

The cold and fresh air quickly spread through their livingroom though, so they got dressed - Isak in his worn out grey hoodie and Even in a bulky maroon sweater, both of them wearing the self knitted socks Even’s grandma sent them.

After a few episodes of Ozark (Isak dozed off several times and Even had to fill in the gaps each time - which he did vividly and with a lot of gestures and scene by scene which always made Isak lean into him more and smile his two-dimple-one-sided smile) they ordered some pizza and sent a picture of their socked feet and a selfie to Even’s grandma. 

That’s all they did on this rainy sunday. It was lazy. It was cozy. It was perfect. 

Min Yoongi was almost certain meeting Jeon Jeongguk was the start of something special... until Jeongguk ghosted him.

This mini series is one of the softest things I’ve ever written (though it goes out on a smutty high note)... but there’s something wonderful and larger-than-life about these boys that lends so well to fiction.

Never Been Kissed

“Wait—”

Harry freezes—mouth centimetres away from Draco’s, hands looped around his neck—and opens his eyes. He’d only closed them a moment before, as he stood on tiptoe to kiss Draco, but now he can see that Draco’s staring at him…and he looks terrified.

“I thought…” He tries to step back, but Draco tightens his grip on Harry’s waist, holding him firmly in place. “If you don’t want—”

“I do, really. It’s that, well I’ve never—I’ve never been kissed before.”

Draco presses their foreheads together, his quiet breath puffing across Harry’s lips, and Harry feels like he might die if he doesn’t get to kiss Draco. But he’s willing to wait. It’s been months already, and a few more minutes or hours or even days won’t change how Harry feels about him. 

Closing his eyes, Draco lets out a shaky breath and says, “Distract me.”

“What?” 

“It’s too—I like you so much and I’ve never done this before and I need you to distract me before I go mad.”

Now Harry’s a bit distracted because Draco likes him and it’s the first time they’ve said anything about whatever it is they’re doing. Harry didn’t know he was into blokes until the start of term, then the first boy he liked was Draco Malfoy. They haven’t even kissed yet but Harry’s already head over heels in love, and everything is just very confusing. 

“Um…well, my first kiss was awful. I couldn’t stop talking about nargles, Cho was crying the whole time and she kept bringing up Cedric—”

“Harry, what in Merlin’s name are you doing?”

“Er—distracting you?”

“By talking about your ex-girlfriend?”

“Oh…” So it’s not Harry’s best idea, but it’s hard for him to think when Draco’s standing so close and he wants to kiss Draco more than he’s ever wanted anything. “Bloody hell. Look, I like you too. I like you a lot and you make me so nervous and I just don’t—”

Draco kisses him. 

They don’t quite know what to do with their hands, Harry’s fighting back a smile, Draco hasn’t moved his lips beyond crushing them to Harry’s, and the Bloody Baron floats by while ominously clanking his chains.

And Harry’s never had a more perfect first kiss.

Arthur is the son of a famous cop (and becomes one) and Lance’s father is a jerkbag crooked businessman that Arthur’s father Uther spent almost his whole life trying to take down. What happens when their sons meet and discover they’re meant for one another?

CATFA Stark Expo Date

This post piggybacks a bit off my last post about Brooklyn’s queer history. 

Ok, so I’ve always had a head-cannon that this scene did have a double date its just not the one that everyone in the crowd would assume. I think the couples are Stucky and the two ladies. There are a few reasons I think this makes sense in canon.

Let’s start with the Ladies. They’re holding each others hands through most of the scene and they pretty much always stand closer to each other than to their “dates.”

Moving on to Steve and Bucky. I think the second image says it all. After he sees the flying Stark Car Bucky doesn’t look to the lady he’s supposedly on a date with he looks to Steve. He wants to see Steve’s reaction; and honestly, tell me that face he’s making isn’t full of love, really. 

Also later on he has no qualms about ditching his “date” to go find Steve when he disappears. In fact when he sees Steve’s gone he looks down right scared for a moment! 

And honestly, the best part of this head-canon is that its not even that far fetched! It was incredibly common for gay men and lesbians to “date” and even get married to avoid arousing suspicion and putting themselves in danger. 

Steve and Bucky may have been at least semi open about their relationship when they were in Brooklyn surrounded by people like them but as soon as they left their borough they would have to hide again.

Sarah Rogers walked Bucky to the door. He had ditched school for the umpteenth time to care for a sick Steve so she could go to work. She stopped him in the entry way before he could leave. The boy turned to look at her. She smiled.

“James. I just want you to know, that if Stevie had to love anyone I’m so glad its you.” 

Bucky went pale “No, Ms. Rogers, its. We’re.. It’s not...” he stammered. Sarah put a comforting hand to his cheek. 

“No. None of that. James if you remember one thing I want it to be this. Love is Love. People may say what you and Steve have is evil and sinful. I want you to know that it is anything but. I’m so happy you are in Steve’s life and I would be proud to call you my son in law.”

The boy was crying now. She pulled him into a hug. “Thank you” he whispered. 

“Of course”
