You’ve warned him not to bring any strays home, but those puppy dog eyes he gives you are your undoing • Inevitably he brought home a stray Golden Retriever whom he’s named Rollo • Doesn’t trust technology • Is now a beach baby, will happily pack up a picnic and take you and Rollo to the beach for a lazy afternoon of swimming, reading and relaxing by the water • Has spent time doing up the garden and making it cosy with string lights, decking and planters. He likes eating dinner with you out there • Loves walking around barefoot, especially when it rains. Will often pop down to the local café to bring you back breakfast, without his shoes on, with Rollo accompanying him • Has developed an odd habit of visiting yard sales and buying random, seemingly useless items - like old radios, vintage clocks, or weird trinkets. He insists he'll “fix ‘em up” or “find a use” for them, but they usually end up gathering dust in the garage • Talks to his truck like it’s a person • Still wears the same shirts he wore whilst in the DEA, albeit they’re a little tighter and he has to leave the last few buttons undone now too • Emotionally scarred but learning to heal • His way of showing affection is through acts of service. He might not say “I love you” every day, but he makes sure you feel it through the little things he does to make your life easier and safer • Will wear his aviators indoors • Is a regular nap enthusiast. You’ll often find him and Rollo curled up together somewhere and both snoring • Overdoes it with smoked barbeque sauce on everything • Believes orange juice with pulp is a “fuckin’ abomination” • Takes way too long to respond to texts. You can see him typing for ages and then you’ll get a response back that just reads “OK” • Has an unhealthy obsession with pickles. Will eat them constantly and will pair them with anything. Will huff if you don’t put any on the side of his plate • Hordes unused gift cards. He puts them in a drawer and forgets about them until after they’ve expired • He’s convinced Rollo understand politics • Enjoys a cuddle and a glass of whiskey before bed • Always the big spoon and doesn’t let go all night • Incredibly passionate, loves to kiss whilst making love • Loves to fuck you up against the windows - doesn’t care who can see. 🖤
