I was never a Yugi/Atemu shipper but looks like Konami is xD It’s not like things ended suddenly between you, you had ceremonial duel that lasted 4 episodes xD

Whenever he appears in dark side of dimensions world, everyone is freaking out like:’’Wow, is that really you, Yugi, we missed you’’ etc, while he speaks generic lines or even worse;’’...’’ Which makes sense because he’s not really here, he’s in his own time, or to be more precise in his version of after life in which everyone who died can be together again ( still sad over Mahado)
The only one who can see the real him again is Seto’s salty ass because he literally created dimension travel so he can defeat him in children’s card game
