oh i haven't seen that part yet, as i said dead or forced to "retire," but that's not to say they don't have people to do the work for them, i'm sure these elders (who didn't accept their prince's chosen successors heir) have put their most faithful men to make life difficult for the brothers.
in addition I believe that the demon king did not accept the diavolo's choice very well, it is very likely that he also shares the antiquated ideals of his avatars, but as he could not interfere with the choice of his son (because whether he likes it or not, it's the son who was going to take over) he would simply let his avatars take care of the successors and look the other way.

ok , as far as I know in cannon (obey-me) it was never said about the previous avatars of the brothers, nor how was their adaptation period.
following this theory, we can think that in the time when the demon king was awake there were 7 avatars of the capital sins before the brothers, most likely they (the brothers) had to kill their predecessors / take down their predecessors since in the cannon itself said that the current order of devildom was created by the ideology of Diavolo.
in this case, one can think that devildom at that time was much more bloody and barbaric than we thought, possibly following the ideology of clans and hierarchical separation aimed at the strength of demons.
another very good point, but I think the angels/demons themselves don't know about this concept since in the revelation when diavolo/lucifer (lesson 16 or would it be 17? damn I can't remember the details) tells that he turned lilith into a human.
if you look at it this way he basically skipped one of the steps of lilith's reincarnation/rebirth.
damn that means he just killed her and remade her the way he wanted WITHOUT SWEAT.

ok... thinking more deeply we can see how cruel was the punishment the big G had for lilith and how he was so pissed he didn't even want to see her "ashes".

if he erases her from existence does that mean he would alter the reality/timeline so that she never existed or would he simply erase everyone's memory after erasing her?
and if it's the first one, how likely are we to have a paradox in that said timeline/reality and how bad would it be if diavolo didn't have its second most reliable?
If it's the second option then how affected will the siblings be? because according to psychology / psychoanalysis we are reflections of our memories, maturing with our mistakes, adapting and developing, character and personality is also formed because of these memories.
so what would this universe be like if such a thing had happened, possibly bell wouldn't have the same protective instinct and bell wouldn't be so committed to understanding humans....

We can say that demons and angels can and do have a system of "life" after death.
Look, think with me, we know from annon that demons and angels have a perspective on life and that they are in fact not immortal, a fact disclosed in several lessons and proven later when we almost lost one of them (*cough thanks thirteen*cough).
However, it was never said what happens to their "soul" when they die (or if it was said then I don't remember).
Following the concept of magic = soul energy/spirit = energy, we can conceptualize that demons and angels (*cough lilith *cough ) somehow have a "soul"/spirit.
With that in mind we can assume that the "life"/death of demons/angels follows a cycle
(Brain: Presents the image of Diavolo holding Luke on his castle balcony performing to the people below while playing endless loop in the background*.
me: shut up)
ahem....where this "energy" does not dissipate anymore and is reused transforming into something else (based on the law of physics), however the result of this transformation will be equivalent to the level of power that the demon / angel has in life.
for example a Little D can transform into an animal or a plant native to devildom, while the demon king I believe that when he dies he becomes one of the layers that separate devildom from the literal "hell" thus maintaining the role as ruler/protector of his people.
another idea would be that when a demon/angel dies another one is "born" taking its place, this new demon/angel possesses the same/or a part of the energy of the demon/angel that died.
let's agree to never make the day angry with us, right? (I don't want to know the extent of his power thank you very much)

yes, but remember what we talked about earlier about 7og? About The Avatar of Greed Redirect Your Own Sin? this stayed in my head for a while and after researching a bit (biblical texts and demonic/angelic and jewish mythology) I realized that the sin of greed is considerably a neutral sin, that means that greed is in the "grey" zone in comparison from the rest of the sins.
Think a little with me, what is the opposite virtue to greed/greed? Charity/Generosity if we think deeply, we can observe that both greed and charity are close concepts, because although they are opposites, both have a tendency to merge, if you take a charitable/generous person you will realize that he likes to proclaim (currently ) their generosity earning praise from others and thus developing a greed for attention.
Those greedy people have the scope to protect / guard their goods / possessions and often these goods are used in important situations, in some cases to help a needy or support someone important to him.
As I said before the sin of greed is something silent and deadly when you realize you are already drowning in it.
Now why do I talk about all this? before but nothing let's go back to the concept of barbarian peoples, in antiquity clan leaders tended to influence their people, as such thinking about the action of the old avatar of greed and his control over his own sin I can assume that all demons within this class developed an excellent mastery of the same sin.

We know that in the first few lessons lucifer chooses mammon as our guardian even though he and the others explicitly say what a scoundrel he is, which initially is something out of context since according to him he gives the notion that he cares deeply about the program, so why would he choose from all the brothers the one who is most hated?
Further on, there is a situation in which he (lucifer) says that mammon is the one he trusts the most, in addition, we realize during the game that even though mammon is the one who most falls into his sin he is the only demon among his brothers that worries about mc since the beginning of the game.
Even though he threatens and claims mammon is the only one of the brothers who maintains control over the human even if he is not close to it.
Why this? because he is his human!
Okay before you start cursing me and objecting to this thing a little bit, remember my conversation with Spark about the 7 Ogs, remember I said that the previous greed avatar was protective of its people?
Well, it was no secret that the demons of greed are terr protectors and excellent guardians of their precious things they do this so much it became the primordial instinct of this demonic class, knowing that lucifer delivered the human to the avatar of greed because he was relying on his instinct to keep his precious one safe, yeah he was right the first moment he saw the human he started to bully (*cough court*cough) the same he (lucifer) just needed a touch final to remind mammon of the consequences of his failure (punch scene).
ok before you tell me that he was not a great guardian at first because he left mc with Levi, you must remember that mammon knew his brothers and their character and knew that the same (Levi) would not kill the human, in fact, he was relying on the idea of psychological terror to put the human on the line because he despises all his brothers and he knows about the nature of humans and understands how curious and stubborn we are.
So what's the best way to keep a little human in line so he doesn't end up killing himself for some stupid reason? put the said human in contact with a hostile demon (nerd) whose anger can easily be deterred.
Bonus if the said human is as nerdy as the demon, then he doesn't have to worry 24/7 that the human will die around the corner since the Demonerd will try to protect his little human friend.
With that in mind, everyone wins, and if something goes wrong he can just show up and save the day, since he's secretly spying on the human and I'll talk about that in part 2, making the human realize that he was the only one there. save it and keep it close to it.

yes he is, but there is a huge difference between being impatient and being moody, unfortunately Luci did not receive this memo.
He tends to have temper tantrums when he is impatient and hears several cases that point to this.

that's why i love him so much he is the most human of the brothers, among all the brothers he is the only one that is the least toxic, you can always count on your natural instincts not to damage your treasure😘. but remember beware of the "quiet".
although he is sweet and braggart, we have to be careful because if he stays quiet and because something is very wrong and the shit is about to hit the fan, when that happens we must be careful not to fall into the crossfire or worse make him lower the guard because we are in the danger zone.

I have a firm belief that the brothers have managed to retain certain abilities from their former forms, even if they are few.
for example and annon that Luci "created"/"gave birth" to a sentient being, something that is extremely difficult for a demon since its magic/essence is geared towards destruction while the angels towards creation.
I also believe that in some sisters these same capacities are what keep them from falling completely into their sin.
Besides, I forgot to mention that compared to the sin of greed, lust is a sin that acts like a fast-acting poison, whoever falls into this sin ends up getting addicted to it and can hardly fight it without having serious consequences in their spirit.

One thing that stuck in my mind in the first moments of Mc's contact with 4 brothers in the intro was the famous phrase that Satan spoke after Mc had resisted Asmo's gaze.
With a bit of research in diverse texts, I realized that there is a certain tendency to demons with lust.
One of these tendencies is that they have the habit of "devouring" their partner during or after the mating act, whether at the first moment or in a certain amount of time, they always devour them, bathing themselves in their vitality and their specific blood whenever that act was done.
After some questions and observations of some texts, they came up with 3 hypotheses of such questions for this type of behavior.
From what everyone knows, most of the tales/legends about the succubus and/or pleasure demons (female) point out that they seduce their companions to absorb their essence during their acts of pleasure, this very death, it is observed in the texts that these living beings.
In the same way, it can be observed that the reasons are the centers/thousands of tests on these demons, few explanations of such needs.
we can also observe that in contrast to this there is a scarcity of tales/myths about its male counterpart.
However, if we look closely at these texts, it can be seen that such options were figures of grande and mestizos, perhaps even as important as previous figures.
Exemplify this by the famous wizard of Arthurian legend, a half-blood we know by the name of Merlin
yes, I understand sounding weird and u must be with what can it be what does this have satan's phrase for MC? simple to look at but deep down I remembered that the symbolic animal of how has a small behavior very similar to what I described earlier and I also realized that this answer fits a lot with my theories.
1- That the lust class demons have a disproportionate society.
In this case, most of the lust demons are females that tend to devour their weaker males.
as I said earlier as women eat themselves like the weakest males, then logically we can bear that the most exceptional are those who survive in this, driven by desire and lust.
this leads me to develop my 2 theories.
Those who read my theory with Spark about the 7 Og may remember that the pre- Diavolo society/demon brothers, had a behavior similar to the barbaric societies of the human realm.
Observing the barbaric acts of ancient society we can see that the lusts of lust tend to follow the patterns of the ancient rulers of great enormous have an immeasurable amount of wives/husbands of various races and different shapes.
When I say the avatars of lust, I'm not talking about having more than one avatar, but that the time of permanence of this avatar in power is short since he always died in those of his companion in his moment of weakness.
Asmo may have been the brother who had a harder time climbing the channel than his other siblings as the latter could be so necessary to demonstrate his resilience in pleasure.
Since the same was a virtue of purity, this was the one who most arose against his demonic form, the one who suffered the most and suffered from his sin.

I gave the idea of the information because I was reading a fic in Ao3 of HP in the Naruto world, he had a power similar to this then...
but, geez that would be really scary and imagine if Mephisto really had Mandela effect power in cannon? then your mc goes to the room with her boyfriend Malphie and out of it the reality of ERROR!
now I'm thinking about what Mc and Barbatos would be like, I imagine something like the episode of the justice league Unlimited cartoon where the villain kind of fucks up with time and reality kind of starts to collapse with portals from different eras opening and animals/beings of different times coming out of them.
(Levi could end up adopting the baby t-rex as his new pet he now calls Henry3.0, Satan may have hidden a saber-toothed pup and asmo really liked that purple flower with polka dots, it smells beautiful and it's absolutely huge.
note: the flower is carnivorous and extremely deadly to humans)
Chaos outside the Bedroom!?! (Lucifer and Mammon's Part)
Summary: What happens, when you and S/o are doing and they loses control of their power?
While you don't have to answer that... but the others on outside the room does!

Lucifer (Shadow, Darkness, and Void)
Lucifer is a demon who takes pride in his control for both mind and power.
So what happens when Lucifer is “preoccupied” with a little human?
The house of lamentation is engulfed in total darkness.
And the inhabitants of the house who aren’t the eldest and a certain human get trapped in an endless maze-like door that leads to the wrong room.
The demon of Wrath found himself in these door traps. Each time he opens the door, he always ends up in either the music room or Lucifer’s study.
And the poor demon of gluttony, he had just come home from a jog and got hungry.
He too was in one of the door traps, but instead of any room inside of the house, he always ends up right back outside the house.
Some rooms are pitch black that demons can’t even see through.
So a poor demon of lust is screaming in fear as he quivers in fear, scared of leaving his tub when his bathroom becomes one of those dark rooms.
But what’s worse are dark voids that appear randomly.
These voids are mini portals that once fallen in, you fall in complete darkness and after a good five minutes drop you a complete random room with no time has passed once you fall in that void.
The demon of greed must have fallen into these voids like ten times.
But these voids can turn deadly, when sometime during this “strange” event starts. These voids become to turn into mini black holes sucking anything that has a soul or lack there off to it.
This is what happens with both demons of envy and sloth. They both hold on to the desk of Levi’s room for dear life as one of these transforms into a black hole then begins to pull them into it.
Then a monstrous roar echoes throughout the house before all the light flickers on and the darkness disappears.
All the demons in the house are either in shock or crying, with Beel bursting the front door open and making a mad dash to the kitchen and begins to wolf down all the food in that room.
Meanwhile in Lucifer’s room
You snuggle into Lucifer’s side and he has his arm wrap around your shoulder the two of you are resting after a wild session. The two of you are unaware of mayhem that happened beyond the room you two are in.
Mammon (Bad and Good luck)
Asmo saw Mammon carrying you to his room and heard the door slam shut.
After a couple of minutes an ominous air filled the house, but everyone just shrugs it off.
Little those Mammon knows that if he ever “preoccupied”. The area surrounding him creates an invisible sphere where all the luck is imbalanced.
The luck of the individual can be good or bad, and it changes every seven minutes.
Soon the demons of Pride, Envy and Lust change into bad. With Lucifer spilling his coffee in his documents, Levi loses his online match, and Asmo’s make-up session ruins because all his make-up products mysteriously turn out empty.
One the other side, the demon of Wrath, Gluttony and Sloth got good luck. With Satan getting a surprise mail of a new book from his favorite author, Beel walks in the kitchen and sees a delicious fear cake on the counter and Belphie finds a new comfy pillow in the attic.
After seven minutes, the luck switched. With the demons with bad luck get the good and vice versa.
This goes on for a good three hours
But as this go on, the good luck became more grander: like getting a rare Demonus from a local elder as a thank you give, winning a months worth of hamburgers, etc.
At the same time, bad luck gets more dangerous: One tripping and causing a fire in his room, all the game consoles malfunction, etc.
After a while Mammon roars, then the ominous air in the house vanishes and all the bad and good luck stop coming.
With all the demons stay in place, waiting if all the things happening in the house stop. They have no idea that they were in circle of luck
Meanwhile in Mammon’s room
Mammon is leaning on his headboard while playing with your hair as you sleep soundly on his chest purr and snuggle even further into him every time he comb your hair.

I wanted to write this since is a kinda funny concept that MC and one of the characters are "Doing It" the surrounding area gets wreck or affected by the beings power/magic.
I might do these out of order.
And yes, I'll be doing the new characters too.

So what happens when Lucifer is “preoccupied” with a little human?
The house of lamentation is engulfed in total darkness.
And the inhabitants of the house who aren’t the eldest and a certain human get trapped in an endless maze-like door that leads to the wrong room.
The demon of Wrath found himself in these door traps. Each time he opens the door, he always ends up in either the music room or Lucifer’s study.
And the poor demon of gluttony, he had just come home from a jog and got hungry.
He too was in one of the door traps, but instead of any room inside of the house, he always ends up right back outside the house.
Some rooms are pitch black that demons can’t even see through.
So a poor demon of lust is screaming in fear as he quivers in fear, scared of leaving his tub when his bathroom becomes one of those dark rooms.
But what’s worse are dark voids that appear randomly.
These voids are mini portals that once fallen in, you fall in complete darkness and after a good five minutes drop you a complete random room with no time has passed once you fall in that void.
The demon of greed must have fallen into these voids like ten times.
But these voids can turn deadly, when sometime during this “strange” event starts. These voids become to turn into mini black holes sucking anything that has a soul or lack there off to it.
This is what happens with both demons of envy and sloth. They both hold on to the desk of Levi’s room for dear life as one of these transforms into a black hole then begins to pull them into it.
Then a monstrous roar echoes throughout the house before all the light flickers on and the darkness disappears.
All the demons in the house are either in shock or crying, with Beel bursting the front door open and making a mad dash to the kitchen and begins to wolf down all the food in that room.
Meanwhile in Lucifer’s room
You snuggle into Lucifer’s side and he has his arm wrap around your shoulder the two of you are resting after a wild session. The two of you are unaware of mayhem that happened beyond the room you two are in.
Mammon (Bad and Good luck)
Asmo saw Mammon carrying you to his room and heard the door slam shut.
After a couple of minutes an ominous air filled the house, but everyone just shrugs it off.
Little those Mammon knows that if he ever “preoccupied”. The area surrounding him creates an invisible sphere where all the luck is imbalanced.
The luck of the individual can be good or bad, and it changes every seven minutes.
Soon the demons of Pride, Envy and Lust change into bad. With Lucifer spilling his coffee in his documents, Levi loses his online match, and Asmo’s make-up session ruins because all his make-up products mysteriously turn out empty.
One the other side, the demon of Wrath, Gluttony and Sloth got good luck. With Satan getting a surprise mail of a new book from his favorite author, Beel walks in the kitchen and sees a delicious fear cake on the counter and Belphie finds a new comfy pillow in the attic.
After seven minutes, the luck switched. With the demons with bad luck get the good and vice versa.
This goes on for a good three hours
But as this go on, the good luck became more grander: like getting a rare Demonus from a local elder as a thank you give, winning a months worth of hamburgers, etc.
At the same time, bad luck gets more dangerous: One tripping and causing a fire in his room, all the game consoles malfunction, etc.
After a while Mammon roars, then the ominous air in the house vanishes and all the bad and good luck stop coming.
With all the demons stay in place, waiting if all the things happening in the house stop. They have no idea that they were in circle of luck
Meanwhile in Mammon’s room
Mammon is leaning on his headboard while playing with your hair as you sleep soundly on his chest purr and snuggle even further into him every time he comb your hair.

I wanted to write this since is a kinda funny concept that MC and one of the characters are "Doing It" the surrounding area gets wreck or affected by the beings power/magic.
I might do these out of order.
And yes, I'll be doing the new characters too.

the funny thing about all of this is that we ended up underestimating him, that is to say, not just everyone else! because he is the youngest, the weakest of avatars however the hierarchical ranking only counts the raw power and it was something done a long time ago. I'm sure if I heard another test of power I believe the order would be very different
Possibly with bell in front because he trained for eons while luci took care of the paperwork. if we were to count raw power vs experience and manipulative abilities I think the twins would come out ahead
Angels theory time! Secrets of Devildom: Demons of Sloth (part 1)
Anyone who has read the theory of the 7 Og and the cycle of life (thanks @sparkbeast20 for the cooperation) knows that there are many holes in the annon and that many of the facts that occurred in the annon are not explained and/or left implicit without any context.
For those following these moments of theory you can see that demons of greed and lust, focusing on much of these philosophical/theological/mythological debates pointing out plot points few would see and undertake.(thanks @sparkbeast20 for the cooperation) well we've already talked about lust and greed so why don't we talk about one of the most underrated sins among the seven? ladies, gentlemen and sheep or today's theory we will talk about laziness. My second theory is that the sloth-class demons were the torturers and interrogators in the period of war with the heavenly realm. Although they didn't have the energy in their body to actively fight the celestial realm, I believe that this particular class attacked the minds of their opponents, tiring them and even not letting them sleep when they retreated. How the hell did they play dirty, why would you throw yourself against an opponent armed and clearly in his strongest state, expending an unnecessary amount of energy, resources and time, when you can take him down in his weakest and most vulnerable state? I can't quite remember what his function was, that was said in the cannon, but I believe that belphie was one of the main beings to fight these demons, and he was possibly an expert in this matter. That's why I believe he was the first among the brothers to assume the position of avatar of sloth, because the test is to destroy the greatest amount of human minds quickly, simply, effectively without being detected. He was newly fallen, had just lost his sister, his position and possibly his freedom, because of Luci's oath, simply because his beloved sister fell in love with a human…. Wounded, guilty and with great hatred, he knew the strategy of his enemies, before his family, and he knew their methods of intervention, their strategies and their movements. Within 24 hours of signing up there was a new sloth avatar.
